Great video, nice to see you using the drone too, good used of music. I bought the same barrel at lockdown 1 when I couldnt get my normal bread flour, so had to buy a gigantic sack of it and needed somewhere airtight to store it. Do find the ring a bit of a pain to get on sometimes though! Looking forward to part 2!

Found your channel through some of the other guy's on this trip and like your videos. Have a Hou14 myself. Really interested to see how you handle some of the rougher stuff loaded and with probably the lowest freeboard of all the canoes there.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. So yeah the boat handled really well, and tbh, the guys tandem paddling had a lower free board than me I noticed. I used a canoe barrel too which I think helped a little bit, and I did take a bit of water on in some of the rapids, but I think that was more the line I picked than anything haha. Cheers Matt 👍

What a great trip so far, especially as you're in a good sized group. It's good to know that there's some great options to make camp along the way, both for tent and hammock setups. I've never been canoe camping before, and it looks like it's great fun, except maybe having to paddle into head wind! I was thinking of taking her, but I was pretty nervous about paddling down Loch Ness before the trip (not knowing what the wind would be like) and didnt feel comfortable taking her with me. We took our own gear mate. But we used a company called Yak Adventures for our shuttle back from the finish in Inverness to Fort William. Hope that helps. It's a great trip mate 👍🏻
