So I want to go there and learn the Tai language and recreate it in Assam. bye the way.... Thank you so much for giving us a great wise video......... Love from Assam (India)............❤️

Perhaps history is not everyone's cup of tea, but I find that exploring a bit of history and background of places I go gives more meaning to my travels beyond scenery and food. This is especially true in the of case China, a culture of considerable depth.

Yes, actually the man who drove the boat was telling us lots of history of the area although I can’t speak good enough to Chinese to understand anything other than the 5 fingers 😅😅

I never had a chance to do research on Guilin. I never heard of Guilin until we arrived on the bullet train from Guangzhou. My friends just told me to grab my suitcase and off we went. Strange, but it all seemed to work out for the best. My trips in China are sometimes like this.

Hi Natt. I am a traveller who has hitch hiked across 20 countries, ranging from America to Australia and Russia. Never done it in China before - what is your opinion on my chances of getting rides in China, especially the inner regions such as this one?
@ExpatNatt2 жыл бұрын
In my experience you’re far more likely to catch rides in places like this than in cities however most things you’re expected to pay for. The locals are very friendly though but they are trying to make a living and these rural areas are quite poor. You’ll want to be able to communicate with them in Chinese though as they will definitely be more friendly towards you and won’t try to take advantage of tourists (Chinese or foreign)! It might take you a long time to find someone with a car though in most of these places 😂
@s1u8n Жыл бұрын
Chinese from China are very selfish and are conditioned to mind their own business. You will get no free rides in China, although being white do have some perks in China.
Hi Natt, Guilin is very beautiful. May I know the hotel's name that you stayed in Guilin & yangshuo ?

@ExpatNatt9 ай бұрын
Hi! I didn’t go to the Cave, and actually it was quite a long drive to the part of the Li River we went to, and then we had to drive even future to retrieve the car after the boat trip. You can rent a scooter though or take Didi which would give you more time to visit more places. If you wish to do both I’d say the order doesn’t matter but maybe check the weather, you don’t want to be on the river when it is raining like it was for us 😅❤️

Haha Miu does a lot of his work from his phone and usually when I’m filming it’s when we have to time to relax so he can do some work and I can film. What you don’t see in these videos is the times away from our phones (since phones are away and I’m not filming from it 😂) Unfortunately for us, just because we are on holiday it doesn’t mean that work stops completely!

@hoteltohotel Жыл бұрын
in addition, if you want to focus on making KZbin video, you can be more specific. more detailed food reviews for example, the taste, the price, etc. it is not comfortable, but it's a sacrifice we need to make. however you are 2 people team. it will be easier. much easier compare to a single fighter.
