Weird how these translations are so different. It's the same with the content of the story. In Arabic he leaves with asking his father first (they edited that part), in Dutch he just slips onboard with a bad excuse. In Dutch they say your friends are all waiting for you, because they know you always experience something cool. In German your friends are waiting for your best idea. Interesting.

I think that European countries just got German anime version to translate or something, so they also covered German opening. That also happened with other anime, like Maya the Bee or Moomin. And that's why later, most of the countries got the same openings of Pokemon/Shaman King/Yu-Gi-Oh as English - they just licensed anime from 4Kids, not from Japanese. But, well... I am Polish, so European version is the one that's nostalgic for me and I don't like Japanese version much, so... that's good that we got this one :V
