The organization being highlighted today is the McWane Science Center! The McWane Science Center has played a large role in the city of Birmingham since opening its doors in 1998. They utilize unique exhibits and hands-on education, experiments, and programs to engage all visitors in a love of learning. They strive to inspire our community members through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The McWane Science Center's mission is "to spark wonder and curiosity about our world through hands-on science experiences."
