Hi, thanks for watching! I hope you also get to rv up here, it's amazing!!! The first place we had a reservation at. They were fully booked on the weekends. The City parks were first come first serve but you could easily get a spot at either of them. Heritage RV park had space but was pretty full on weekends. Your channel looks like fun, just checked it out!

Nice video of camping in Homer. I like Seward a lot better the Mountains are closer but their city campground raised there rates to $40 a night which is BS. Used to be $15 a night.

Thanks for watching and for the comment! I agree with you, I'm more partial to Seward and absolutely love it there!. I imagine it will be crazy there this summer :(

I'm on my way to Alaska tomorrow and will be camping in Homer Spit a night or two, when I typed in Homer Spit in the search did not think a fellow Escape owners video would be the 1st. Won't be bringing our Escape on this trip but hope to one day.

Great review, Campground #1 looks like a pretty spot to camp but seems very odd to boot you out for 4 hours until check-in; we would have canceled too. We loved Homer although we didn't have much time to explore as we were headed from the airport to the ferry dock. But, it seemed like an interesting spot to come back to someday to explore more. Heritage despite the cost looks like it was well worth it. We ❤️ Alaska - thanks for sharing. Until next time, friends, Safe travels! -Jody & Chris

Thanks Jody and Chris!! I hate spending that kind of money on a campsite but I do have to admit it was worth it! We spent a full week in Homer and could have easily spent more :) Hope you get to explore Alaska more in your future!!
