Along with the Giant Dipper and Cave Train Adventure, Loggers Revenge is considered one of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's classic attractions. Built by the legendary Arrow Developments (manufacturers of some of the best know Disneyland and Walt Disney World rides) in 1977, this log flume is an awesome way to catch some incredible views of the California coast before the final plunge.

It just isn't the same without standing in line for 30 minutes, letting the anticipation build and build, then getting on the ride, letting the anticipation build and build, and then suddenly realize how long you have to wait to hit the drop, and begin dreading it and regretting all of your life choices up until that point, and then reaching the drop and feeling like your about to fall out of your seat.

Aghhh real! I go here every year, and yet I still get butterflies while waiting dreadfully but excitedly in line, have a great time on the nice scenic ride, tan totally regretting going on as you’re about to hit the drop! I love snata Cruz!

I use to come here on the greyhound bus every memorial day weekend in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They still had the Disney-like gas powered Autopia cars running on a concrete track then. They took that out when they expanded the east end of the boardwalk and added the log flume. I miss the Wild Mouse though. Never rode the log flume before but I just moved to a place only several miles away from the boardwalk, so maybe someday...

the only scary part is the drop,and Its terrifying because you feel like youre gonna fall out of your seat but other than that Its light work
