Just found your channel. Your vlog skills are superb. We spent 10 months straight in our van with our two dogs last year incl 3 months in Arizona. We spent about a month in and around Tucson; we loved it! We're actually going to move there after this year's travels. Such a unique place. Also, highly recommend Le Buzz Cafe next time you visit, if you haven’t been already. Also Seis Kitchen for some awesome fresh Mexican food. I stumbled on your video because I'm from Tucson and my husband and I got married on Mt. LEMMON and watching you at the cookie cabin just flooded so many memories of how our relationship started. We used Mt. LEMMON as a personal playground! It's were we both discovered the love of nature and each other. Now 10 years together and a 4 year old son later we are moving to Vancouver WA to discover the PNW and all that it has to offer. I'm glad you loved Tucson as much as us and I did as a kid! It's my first home and the locals will always say " there is nothing to do" well I found lots to do because nature was my favorite thing and I worked at the telescope w my husband at the u of a! Wow, that opening scene took me by surprise! We really ummed and aaahed about driving down to Saguaro NP for the day (from Phoenix) at the end of our 2019 road trip, but decided against it due to it being mid August, but this time of year looks to be perfect in that area! Really loved Mount Lemon and how bio-diverse the area is. With the snow at the top, even more of a better reason for you guys visiting in winter. The hike to the waterfall was beautiful too. Couldn't notice the odd shot of the 2 of you waaay off in the distance walking - that was some real commitment to go back for the camera 🙏🙌 Have to say, the Eegee's drinks looked so unhealthy (like if you turned off the light, they'd glow in the dark) so was pleasantly surprised to learn they're made from real fruit!

Definitely recommend AZ in the winter, it's much more bearable and still mega sunny! Thanks for showcasing some parts of Tucson. Riding bikes up the Mt. Lemmon highway is popular with hardcore cyclists. Lance Armstrong used to come to Tucson just to do that ride up the mountain. And, great job on pronouncing the plants and place names. I'm 42 years now in Tucson. The desert is beautiful.

I am glad you showcased Tucson, AZ. My hometown. Born and raised. I live about a mile west from the San Xavier Mission. Also, glad you tried Eegee's. However, You missed out one iconic food institution of Tucson. That is Lucky Wishbone. They have 4 different sizes; pop, mom, Jr, and family. I grew up on Lucky Wishbone's "Steak Fingers". You are missing out. They also have chicken fingers, shrimp, gizzards, hand hamburgers. It is the garlic toast! that also makes the meal. Taking your steak fingers and dipping it in to the "sauce" ....Oh so mouth watering. If you are on a diet, this is not for you. One meal which is not on the menu and you have to ask for it, is the three piece chicken meal. It is fried chicken. But! it is from the "Wishbone". Very tender chicken. Enjoy your trip, keep it safe and God bless!
