A really great series on the Utah National Parks and Southern Utah in general. As a native of Utah, I have been to these areas several times over the past 50+ years - but you are doing (hiking) parts of them that I have never even considered before. Makes me want to explore my own backyard a lot more. The hike to Druid Arch looks incredible. All the best.

my sisters landlord used to be one of the cowboys here in the 70s! Someone (suspectingly government-paid) terrorized the cowboys, killed their cattle, torched their cabins and pretty much drove them out so they could make the canyonlands into a national park. Mark (the cowboy) said they couldn’t recover so they moved their ranch to eastern Oregon. Also apparently there’s oil fields in the area the government wanted to keep hidden. Anyway. Some sad but interesting history about that cowboy site you found. That’s where the cowboys went.

Hey! Just rewatching this for the 3rd time after we did Druid Arch too! You guys are beyond experts! This is a tough hike! We rescued a solo hiker along the way and we barely made it before dark. The last climb before the arch is gnarly, and the way down isn’t necessarily easier because it is more dangerous as you can trip and fall several dozen feet. Going down is even slower, no room for error I’m amazed you did 17 miles in 8:40. BTW, the other way isn’t 11 miles despite what the sign says, it was 12 miles. It seems it was off for you too, 17 instead of 15. That last mile feels like it goes on forever

Totally loved this video! I love the Needles District! We were supposed to do the Druid Arch in October 2018 but the rain was moving in for a few days so we canceled. After seeing your video, I can’t wait to be in that area of Utah again and do this hike; it looks wonderful. I like the variety of the hike, even the scrambling. Was there an area of sand you had to walk through? And your supper looked delicious!
@AdventuresofAplusK3 жыл бұрын
We loved the variety of the hike too! We did walk through the wash a bit, which was sandy, but mostly it was rocky! We hope you can make it back and hike it!

Hello Adventurers😊😊, I have also hiked Neddles section of Canyonlands National Park and I really enjoyed the quiet solitude there. I saw 1, yes 1 other hiker...amazing!!! Oh myyyy...those super chessy enchiladas looked soooo gooood! You 2 always get me so hungry. Have you been to Moab Diner? If not check it out. Have you explored Fishers Tower and the scenic areas along the Colorado River Scenic Byway 128? I can't wait to see what's next. Your videos are awesome👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!

Try extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil to use on your pan, it has a high smoke point.

again love your videos, dutch oven, 2/3 of the coals should be on top of the dutch oven and the bottom on top of the remaining coals this way it speeds up the cooking time.

We followed the chart exactly how it said, but it still went realllll slow. Our coals probably weren't hot enough to be honest.

Great video- we are headed back to MOAB in the spring. You motivated me to visit the Dome this trip. We usually do Mesa Arch so we will be nearby. What are your other top 3 hikes in the area? I really like Morning Glory Arch aka Grandstaff canyon. Also, you would definitely enjoy renting a UTV and heading out to Chicken Corners and also Hells Revenge. In a 4x4 Shafer Trail and Long Canyon.
