Hey I have a Jeep too but since the towing capacity for a 4 door is 3500lbs. I wanted to recommend a travel trailer I’ve been looking at myself that might be good for you. The “rove light 14hb” is $21,000 and weighs 1,800lbs. This is literally the lightest but largest trailer I could find for a Jeep. You could tow it safely and live in it, I don’t know if you want to have a trailer since it’s another parking space that it takes up. But please remember the “rove lite” brand and take a look at it.

Just assuming that you have to plan for big purchases, once you get some money together you can get a rooftop tent. That way you can sleep on top and don't have to worry about the dog dragging dirt into your sleeping area, plus it'll free up some space inside the Jeep. Hope that helps. Thumbs up!!!

Whenever you can afford a roof top tent, that will make a perfect solution to your problems. Comfortable clean living up stairs, if you get the flip out style of rat it will provide a shaded area to relax under. Get the annex to the tent and you will have a stand up changing room that can also be a bathroom and shower area as well. William can sleep down inside the annex while you sleep upstairs. It will give you more space inside the Jeep since your bedding material will all be in the rtt. You don't really off road that hardcore so you don't need to worry about the tippy feeling on the harder trails.
