Arrma Mojave grom blx one week review

On 2s still so much better than the Granite Grom it was not a good truck and this is good. The body clips a real pain, is a worry you cannot got it off fast. The Typhon that seems to be the best body to get off from the videos I have seen, but no seen the brushless version yet. Wow the battery time is very short for me a big issue as I do not have many small batteries.

It's really good on 2S! By the way, it's reassuring to hear from such a widely-known channel that three to five minutes is "plenty enough fun for a good time". I shall refer my wife to this statement of yours next time she suggests that three to five minutes is a little...quick.

I ran mine on 3s the other day on the track and had to dial it back to 75% to keep it out of the pipes!! 2s is much better for the small track. It is an animal on 3s for sure. Mine is still the same noise level as it was in the beginning so I assume it is just the all metal drivetrain. I am really loving it so far!

Can’t wait for proline to make the Badlands for it. The BLX Typhon drives like it’s on rails with them. The Mojave is way more planted though.

You probably could i just have a bunch of 2200s so thays why I have been using them also i drive full throttle most of the time with it that doesn't help my run time but really fun I love how it's slides

Flip around. Run on its back. Noise goes away. It's the dog bones hiting diff cups

The gear noise is coming from two different places. One of them is the input drive to the diffs, and I don't think that can be fixed. The other place is the pinion to spur mesh, which is insanely loose from the factory. The fix for that is to install the motor mount plate for the next smaller pinion (21T or K) AND just barely enlarge one of the holes. Either that or use the aluminum adjustable one from Hot Racing. You wind up with a way better lash and a little less noise. But that's only a half of a fix and I don't think the thing is going to self destruct if you run it as-is. Not for a while anyways. My $0.02

I dunno how you are getting only 3 to 5 mins out of these things. Mine last at least 15 to 20 when ripping nonstop
