What great spots for camping! I was thinking that a cloudy day (and barometric pressure) can make a person feel gloomy. But then those beautiful little birds showed up, and likely came to greet you. Very timely! Those were great shots of them. That close up is priceless!

Those birds look like barn swallows. We have them here in MN. Insect eaters. I bet they swoop all over the lake and eat bugs. They love hanging on the sides of rock faces and buildings etc... thought your van was the perfect place to wait out the rain. 😀 Awesome encounter.

Another very cool video Mr Brian 😎. The swallows probably were attracted to the nice warm air wafting up from under your van, but they may not have stayed had the vibe not been good 😃. Hope that you replaced the bad Vsr (voltage sensitive relay) ..... It doesn't look like you're getting virtually any solar lately. Also.... Thanks for the South Dakota motivation. I was on a family get together trip to Wisconsin last week and took a side trip to S.D. to finish my S.D. domicile by getting the S.D. license ... Easy peeezy, just like you showed.
