Loving the new layout in the van!
My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures.
In this video I spend the day at Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego, CA. This is a nice day use park that also has a campground.
I enjoy a few nice hikes and cook some breakfast up on the camp stove. I also talk about my upcoming travels plans.
Thanks for watching!

Hi Brian. It's been a while since I've seen your videos but I'm looking forward to catching up. You don't know how happy I am to see you doing well. I wrote to you once about your inspiration to me and how I would love to follow in your footsteps. I've since got married and things have changed a bit for me. But the good news is that I've found someone that shares the same interest in traveling and exploring. We're going to give it a try this year and we'll see how it goes. Love the new van! Take care.

Thanks for the morning chuckle! Totally something I would do, and would have had wet shoes as well, lol. I spent many winters living/traveling in my now long gone westfalia before doing the family thing, which is winding down with only one left in high school. The road is pulling hard on my heart strings, especially when your vids trigger many wonderful memories that you filmed in places I also visited. Thanks, and great job Brian!

For hiking....Try and reserve "SW 4" in Big Bend. That's the campsite of Southwest 4 in the Outer Rim of the Chisos Mountains. You can incorporate it into the Outter Mountain Loop or just hike there. It will get you the closest to the best sunset spot on the south rim. Remember, March is the busiest month for Big Bend due to tons of spring breakers. Also, for a real experience, take your passport and go across the Rio Grande for an excellent, safe trip to Boquillas, ride the donkey and eat at Falcone's (cheap and amazing food). Go to the Hot Springs near Rio Grande village. Don't be afraid to camp in spots like Candelillia, K-Bar, Croton Springs and Nugent Mountain #1......your van can make it there easily and it's cheap camping (7 nights for $10) Big Bend is the best hidden gem in the southwest. Terlingua, yeah that's fun......if you are prepared to spend money.

Brian, the changes are looking A1. A suggestion...for attaching the white plastic panels, you might want to use thin strips of wood and screw thru those, then the panels, that way, the panels are held on across a longer area. The same on the back of the shelving unit if you find the small nails are eventually not holding the panels on well. Cheers.

As usual Brian, everything looks great. I look forward to everything you put out on KZbin. Big bend is a must. I spent a month last winter early part of winter there camped in Terlingua. Incredible place. With your van there are more places with in the park that you can find. I had a travel trailer so therefore it was a little limited as to places I could pull off. Be safe out there. I sure hope to meet up someday. Take care.

Wow! your new van build really looks great! I love the bright uncluttered look with each item in its own place. I was impressed with the water pump in the van. I carry 5 gal water jugs and use a siphon to fill a smaller container so I don’t have to lift those heavy ones. What kind of pump is that and where did you get it? I think it’s a terrific solution for indoor water. Thanks for another wonderful video. I never tire of watching you cook.

AVM Brian - I steam my eggs like that too . . . but am hesitant to put water on my cast iron. But it’d probably be fine as the water steams away or could be wiped away soon after. I assume your pan had not rusted from doing this ?
