I did this in different times in the 4 seasons of Michigan. Always with my dog. And alone. My mind sometimes visits those memories. Good times like most will never experience. However, today my body is showing the wear and tear of my youth. So now I live in the country with a huge corn field on the other side of the highway and a massive river bottom in my backyard. And I sleep in a weatherproof environment that keeps me and my dog safe from the elements that I no longer am able to do. If this stuff is interesting to you then get out there and do it before your body says, "phuck you!' One day it will and sooner than you think possible...

As a teenager, I often got caught in heavy rain while fishing without a tent, sometimes with a tent. When I was 14-16 years old, my friends and I regularly went fishing in motorboats for several days. The Pripyat River, Chernobyl, Ukraine. Already as a student, I went rafting on the Chusovaya River in the early spring in the company of young people and girls on an inflatable raft, Ural, Russia. Then I went on business trips to Siberia, sometimes I had to walk 20-30 kilometers. Once I miscalculated my strength and had to spend the night in a taiga winter hut - this is a house that hunters put up for winter hunting for fur animals, sable and squirrel. Now the need to spend a night outdoors in the rain makes me shudder. I am 70 years old and I already need minimal comfort in the form of a warm, dry bed.

I Love the Rain 🌧️ especially when you sleep 💤 I bet you rest so good when it’s raining, I had a tin Roof and I love when it rain.
