8:30, that dog is living the life ! I always loved the heavy downpours. Digging trenches for water runoff’s away from the tent. Escaping into the tent to change out clothing and retreat into the bag for the night and staying dry and warm during a cold night. It’s almost magical.

I used to camp in the snowy high fells of the Lake District with my 7 year old son. It was he who used to push me into doing it. We loved the physical exercise of tramping through the snow. Then camping at night. We never felt any less comfortable than in our own beds at home. It was all lovely I live and always have lived in the North East of England.

It’s reminder to me of how soft we have it in our homes .. And how in this situation no is no room for being lazy . However the rewards are real. It’s my first time seeing you on here.. So looking at all the equipment / tools are essential to make this work. I lived in a tent in south France in the early 80s for 3 months. It was easy compared to what you had to do hear. But still the peace and tranquillity was immeasurable.. Look forward to more videos and learning.🙏👍

I really love the rain. I am 31 y.o When it rains, i feel a sense of calm. I feel focused and just want to watch and listen to the rain without any distractions. I enjoy quietly observing the rain. My wife often asks, "what ate you thinking about?" And i answer, "i am not thinking about anything." I am simply resetting and recharging my mind, so i can feel calm and peaceful again.

I went rustic tent camping in the upper peninsula of Michigan almost every year for 25 years. There's nothing like being in a tent in a thunderstorm when you *know* your tent is going to keep you dry while you listen to the storm. Awesome! Excellent video, really captures the feeling. Excellent camera work and editing. One thing: How in the heck did you manage to not have water droplets or fog on the lens? I'm amazed!

Brings back memories. Use to camp in foul weather a lot in my younger years. Rain or snow and always had a blast doing it. Now days I have to use a pop-up camper. Witch is OK but not the same as using a tent. Thanks for the memories and use a tent for as long as you can. :-)
