What a funny video 😂. That guy’s facial expression explains it all. Those ladies are sure giving that young gentleman a hard time. The Triumph 1500 is a very nice small sedan but the TR6 wins every time. In the United States, all TR6s were carbureted 2.5 liter straight six engines with 100 horsepower. But honestly I would love a Petrol or fuel injected TR6 as well.

Exactly!!! My grandfather owned 2 TR6s a 1974 and a 1969. Now he owns a 1968 Triumph TR5 PI. Even rarer than a TR6. But sometime next year I’m planning to buy a 1970-76 TR6 as my first starter British sports car.

Does anyone here watching this video like the 1968 Triumph TR5 PI?? Any thoughts of it? My grandfather owns one and it has 150 brake horsepower and runs smooth as a TR6.

Sadly, here in the US as the TR250, it only came carbureted. But I loved the totally different feel from my TR4A-IRS. Your grandfather should be a happy driver!

Here in the UK, between 1976 and early 1980, I owned one of the TR5 pre-production prototypes, one of I think, 6 cars that the factory lent out to the press/journalists to review. The TR5 is a great car.
