Combining ambient and flash looks so easy but is so often done badly, this video shows a master photographer at work. Great video, although that Sony skin…..😂😂😂

Ok I’ll defend myself quickly. Not my camera and to each his own. LOL thanks for watching

@@drdj2626there’s a window next to the subject and a continuous light lifting the shadows. I appreciate that he’s blended both light sources really well but he actually walks you through the set up. If you’re being pedantic over the use of ‘flash’ for continuous light then you’ve wasted both of our time, move on.

Good video, but in this particular case, I think a reflector will do the job perfectly.

I know this question doesn't have a simple answer but: If you used manual flash how many stops of light would you have to adjust your exposure to over manual settings. I know there isn't an exact answer but where would you start if you had to. I'm guessing about 4 stops.

Shadow fill?
@JiggieAlejandrino19 күн бұрын
Yes controlling the shadows instead of removing them
@boloki7218 күн бұрын
No, shadow adds shape and drama
@JiggieAlejandrino18 күн бұрын
My point exactly but controlling the intensity of the shadow is also key.
