We come to the conclusion of the Johnson family series and their mission to carry on traditional Dine' teachings and preserving the ecosphere for future use at Black Mesa. Enjoy listening to masini Linda sharing her advice in Dine' Bizaad and the hard work behind reseeding Black Mesa in the appropriate and respectful manner.

When I do interviews like this, I wish I had more time to be around the family and study the entire area. There is so much to cover in a short amount of time during my travels. One day, I'll spend multiple days and share the experience. But we highly encourage everyone to reach out to their elders and listen to their stories as well. Ahe' hee 🤙🏾

Hi to be honest with you I do agree about the plants does have their own feelings that's why I heard talk to each plants to let them know we need them thank you for helping us to help others and always care about the plants that is why everything started falling apart slowly til when it's to late...

Ahe' hee, we appreciate your comment and support. What area do you reside out of? The plants do have their ways and it's eye catching when you seen the changes over time. It's real and kind of sad. Have a great rest of your weekend 🤙🏾

The only plant I respect is marijuana plants lol hahaha and the rest of the others plants out there that does help everyone that needs help from sickness and health and it is true about each every plants does have feelings and they do talk back same time you just needed to listen to them what they are saying too.... Me I live in Pinon Arizona and once I heard about Peabody that did got me mad upset about it too and to be honest to keep the plants growing we all needed to listen and take care of them too even it's true about Water is Life without water it won't help us to learn and to grow too.... But it's to complicated to teach the way how it is these days til when it's to late that's when everyone realizes that and open their eyes to see what is going on too.... So all we gotta do is don't give up on each other and mostly respect the plants each everyone of them matters more likely Plants Matters too....

@@user-ff1hg8in1u Agreed, we do have fewer medicine man and traditionalist but I have a feeling we are going through a resurgence of practicing the old ways with modern technology. Ahe' hee for your comment and I hope to interview more relatives in the Black Mesa area. Beautiful country out there.

You should inform others if your doing these traditional vlogs that you don’t speak Diné very well. And somehow if you can translates English to Diné. Then again I know your wife edits so maybe ask them to speak Diné and English. Specially about teaching from elders.

Hi, Wife here. I do not edit the videos. Nick has a degree in filmmaking and does the filming and editing. I write, do SEO, and other backend stuff. Nick can speak to his fluency in Diné, but I can say that one of the biggest challenges when we interview someone who speaks Diné is finding the time to create captions that show the translation to English. It’s a very time-consuming process, and that’s the one thing we don’t have a lot of. Eventually we’d like to provide that for all of our videos. In the meantime, we hope that non-Diné speakers can enjoy those segments if only for the beautiful sound of the language. We appreciate you watching our videos and taking the time to comment. Ahe’hee

Stay with not putting anything online. Because you get greedy people who want and know what natives know that they want to find a way to stop everything. Keep it sacred. Then again there’s this KZbin. Ugh.
