The five things I must overcome to achieve self-mastery: 1. Sensual Desire 2. Aversions 3. Heaviness 4. Restlessness 5. Skeptical doubt I was having difficulty remembering number 1. Sensual desire is something I may need to look up and do research on. I need to avoid forgetting this and, more importantly, overcome this obstacle first before focusing on the other four. Also, I originally remembered number 5 wrong. I thought it was self-doubt.

No offense but do people just quote the bible when they can't come up with their own opinion or statement? As an abused, neglected child taken on a non stop ride where I had no choice. Hearing bible verses are the last thing anyone needs to hear. It's dismissive of any given concern or problem. Just quote the bible and any issue is magically resolved. End.
@SIM4TUNE Жыл бұрын
@@heerosanosyuy1173 Said "no disrespect" then begins to desrespct, interesting. In an age of recycled thought, who has an original opinion or statement? You are projecting your own hurt, what you should be doing, is seeking help and not to hurt others because of their beliefs. You were hurt, yes! But why take it out on those who didn't hurt you?
@egoillusion5734 Жыл бұрын
Be aware of Quoting a verse if you really dont know the deeper understanding on it. If someone will kill your mother or someone you value in your life most in front of you what will you do? You apply those verse? are you sure you havethr guts on it n just forgive on the very moment'? Do not conclude a line without looking the wider picture of it Because Yeshua said be witty as a Snake,

Many advices in this Clip are not wise and not well thought. Because most if it are not arising from experience but rather arise from wishful thinking of what things should be rather than what things are. Only take advice from Somone who have traveled the same path toward the same destination. And be carefully that he can not advise you about any other path that he did not walk.

@@latinstuff1 of course! There is always battle on this Earth. Good versus evil. Until End of Times era. There were Knights (Catholic warriors) vs. Black knights (e.g. Templars reshaped to Freemasonry) Even inside Catholic Church there were always people on the side of the Beast since the very beginning. First was amongst the Apostles! Even before times of Catholic Church amongst people chosen by God from Babylon (Jews) there were always synagogue of satan. Their descendants established banking crime syndicates and even reign over Jews who rejected Jesus Christ up to our times…

@@geraldremington2262 Saint knight was an apex level man amongst chivalry! Of course there were mercenary knights offering brute force for hire. But in times of Europa Universalis true knights were a landlords and praetorians for their king. You have no idea how noble, how well educated, how well trained in warrior skills and how morally good man a true Catholic Knight was! Check for example biography of Zavissius the Black from Poland. Heroic character from beginning to its bravely death during efforts to stop Muslim tides when he was an old warrior with age above 60! Zavissius the Black (XV century) was renowned knight, spartan level warrior, diplomat, educated gentleman, strongman and champion, winner of many tournaments, general, strategist and right hand of the king of Poland! And we have many more men in England, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Hungary, developing virtues of knight during their lifetime! Study the past…
