Thank you for the beneficial video brother, for sure cleared up a lot. Can I ask you for advice on attaining recommendations from islamic bodies or individuals. How should I go about attaining these if there are no large or known people/organisations in my area? And if I were to travel to another area, how long would I have to have been studying or taking knowledge from that person for it to be appropriate to ask for a recommendation - or can I just ask immediately?

quran is what i am interested in but i have heard many say fiqh is the thing most valuable at medina bcuz u can learn most of the other facultieies somewhere else. but you cannot get the quality of resources for fiqh any place else other than medina. So should i lean a little bit towards what is most valuable or is it still 100% what I Want

Assalamu alaikum, Great advice brother! As a side question do you know what's happening with the arabic test for new applications which is supposed to be completed by january 4th? There hasn't been a tweet about it or information even though it was listed in the application requirements in the pdf

Walaykumusalam warahmatullah akhi, I know a brother who applied in the year 2020 and was accepted. He was only required to do the Arabic test after he was accepted. So I assume that unless the person has been accepted he wouldn't even have the option to do the test. And Allah knows best.

@@AF-we4re Barakallahu feeka akhi, alhamdullilah that's great to hear, the application guide for this year said you have to do the arabic test for acceptance, and they set a date for it over the last month but never actually administered it so allahu alam but maybe they have delayed it to after acceptance as it was done in previous years
