i did the paper version in august of year 10 after my maths gcse. the maths content is slighly easier than gcse content so i would recommend doing it in the summer after your maths gcse because then you'll have all that maths knowledge already in your head. it's even easier with the digital sat now because you get desmos :) for the reading and grammar, i found it really different to english lit/lang gcse since you don't infer at all, you're just finding what it says in the text so it should *theoretically* be easier, but i found it difficult to slip out of the inferring mindset. the grammar section was also tricky because it's different from what we do at gcse, but as long as you read a lot you'll be fine! hope this helps :)

i got 1480 730 reading 750 math shocking bc i normally get 800 math on practice exams lol

omg 1480 is crazy good, it's in the 99th percentile! there's nothing to be shocked/disappointed about, you should be super proud of your amazing score!!! don't worry though, you can always re-take it to try to get 800 - i believe in you!
