Advice on how to rank genetic counseling programs for match day

Just wondering, did both Chloe and Dara get into their first-choice rank? I know Dara did but I watched the video twice and don't know about Chloe. Also submitted my rank but may edit something before it's due.

Hi Kaite, I'm an international medical student specialized in medical genetics. could you please tell me the Licences I should take to get a genetic counselor job in the US? TIA

In order to become a certified genetic counselor in the US, you need to complete a M.S. in genetic counseling at an accredited genetic counseling program. I have never heard of a way to bypass this. Perhaps you could look into becoming a geneticist in the US rather than a genetic counselor. Many GCs work very closely with geneticists and then you would be putting your MD to use. In most states, GCs cannot order genetic tests, but MDs certainly can. I am not sure you would want to be a GC if you have your MD. I am wishing you the best of luck. I think my best advice would be to connect with a geneticist in the US.
