This is not true. I don't think it is even honest. The main reason professional musicians will play your work is a. if you pay them well or b. if they can connect their name and carrier with someone who is heavily promoted by big institutions. Ask any composer in any big city in the US if you don't believe that. ( I happen to know some)...
