@@ismaelsoum64013 years late but, There's 2 types of guidance and what Ismael (may Allah preserve him) was referring to the second type of guidance which is called Irshaad i.e clarification and direction by others. Ofc Allah guided his heart to accept it but it was Abu Iyaad who clarified things to him. بارك الله فيك
