This is segment from a lecture by shaykh Salih Al Maghamsi, who is the imam of Masjid al Quba in Medina, Saudi Arabia. He is one of the most well known scholars of tafseer around.
He almost lost his voice in this segment of the lecture (you may be able to tell)
He advises everyone to remember three things:
1) No one is greater than Allah
2) No speech is greater than the speech of Allah
3) No one knows more about Allah than He

Asalamu alaykum Alhamdulillah this is a good reminder from our dear Imam Salih, but I find that putting music in the background is effectively ignoring his advice. He tells us to keep the Quran as the shaker of our hearts. If this is so why is there a need of putting music in the background? Of course if the music was already in the background then there is no fault on you, but I would encourage you to remove it if you have the original audio because it is distracting. جزاكم الله خيرا

SubhanAllah! but I just want to point out something, the Sheik made a little mistake at the end of surah Al-Hashr: it's supposed to be: BismiLah Al Rahman, Al Rahim "Yusabbih lahu ma fil samawati wal arth wa huwa Al 3aziz Al-Hakim" but the sheikh read: "Yusabbih lahu ma fil samawati wa MA FIL arth wa huwa Al 3aziz Al-Hakim" we all make mistakes, but I was confused by it, I though I was wrong so I started reading it like the sheik. but again, we all make mistakes may Allah bless him!

Islam is to submit to the creator of the universe and to acknowledge the purpose of life and to follow the revelation through the prophets. That is the definition of Islam: to submit to God peacefully. A muslim is not only confined to a follower of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but anyone who follows the revelation of God throughout history. We believe that Christianity and Judaism have been changed over time and other religions from God are either lost or also changed and so our Prophet was sent.

Being raised in this religion does not automatically guarantee one into paradise. Is lam is a religion that calls one to the worship of one God and to fulfill the purpose of their creation. In order to know the purpose of creation, God sent down men with revelations throughout history. The last of Prophets is the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and like other prophets he called people to worship of one God and called to people that they were created for a purpose.
