NEVER Liked Tom Snyder-came across to me as very abrasive and intrusive as an interviewer and hated his idiotic laughing!--although I LOVE Angie Dickinson-she was and is a CLASS Act!!

@@RobertJohnson-ci5wx I always thought he was a New Yorker bc he had that personality. (I’m a New Yorker and was used to that). I watched him in 1974 as a 16 yr old and continued through college. I thought he was much older-maybe bc he went gray early. Funny how she said its easier to lie…and he said its easier to tell the truth. Really reveals the heart. As he matured he started to let the guests talk more without interrupting. She really used her eyes and her smile. Very feminine woman. The type that could easily be a home wrecker-and she did like married men. Very provocative woman. I do see a lot of similarities in style between Meryl Streep and Angie. I wonder if Meryl modeled herself after Angie. Though Meryl is more of a feminist.

What makes this interview so good is the chemistry between them. She clearly likes Snyder who is great. She was 50..

I think she exudes tons of class and wit and glamor. She was careful what she shared, but honest too. Women had to be so much more careful back in those days. They can be sloppy now and it shows.

@@vanmoody yes he absolutely did! She was a regular guest on his show many, many times. Every time he would be so nervous (obviously lusting for her) always flirting with her-continuously asking her out for a date. She said in TV guide that when she finally said yes and went out with him, He never ever asked her to be on his TV show again!? This is so very sad. What a drugged out and messed up jerk he was. After he got what he wanted, he discarded and dumped her never letting her be on his show. This hurt her so very deeply. This classy lady deserved so much more-always nice and respectful to everyone in the industry. Even today, still remembered and loved by the world today!!

@@charliechilders6630 she was born the same year as my mother. Most women of her time didn’t get to sleep around as she did. They were committed to their husbands and kids. She got to sleep with as many men as she wanted.

@@debbiemartin2026 thank you for your comment! I am not sure when she was actually born. Most great (like Doris Day, Maureen O'Hara, Joan Crawford, Jeanette MacDonald, Dorothy Lamour erc.) movie stars were actually two years older than the public actually knew! Each and every other movie studio biography did this to profit by with more years as playing a younger leading actress. I can't help believing that my favorite sexy star (Angie Dickinson) was also a victim of the studios and their many deceptions. What year was she actually born in-1929 or 1931? 🤔Like I mentioned to someone, I have been lusting after Angie Dickinson ever since I was a fetus! 🙄😳😍😜🤪😝 ( By the way, my mother was born in March of 1932. ) Most women during the 1970s and 80s looks more like Jean Stapleton, Shelley Winters, Elizabeth Taylor (I mean her body) and my etc. Then there's Angie Dickinson with her incredible body . When Joan Rivers "substituting for Johnny Carson on The Tonight show" ask Angie how she had that incredible body she said this: "exercising is not enough, you also have to diet!"

She said she was hit on by many great gorgeous handsome top iconic male stars and many other men in politics, sports, TV like Johnny Carson! Marlon brando when they were making a move together in 1967. She was in his trailer alone with him rehearsing the lines for their next scene together. She said that once she was in his trailer, Brando was a very very naughty man. He would say shocking, vulgar intimate things trying to seduce and get her into bed. This went on for hours. Brando was obsessed, determined . He was charming her with everything he had. Angie dickinson was very flattered, excited but declined. She told him that she was happily married to Burt Bacharach and she felt this was morally wrong for married people to not remain loyal etc. She told during a televised interview about Marlon Brando, if she had been single she would have said yes! She was a classy lady unlike 90 percent of Hollywood then and this is even wose today. I have learned that the only people who judge and say nasty things about her are usually unhappy fat, lonely and insanely jealous women! 🤔
