Advise Dad - Where to Go From Here?

46 years? Well done for those and many more. Ss far as I can see you've only covered 3 Nightwish songs so in the spirit of love and romance, how about While Your lips Are Still Red from Wembley 2015? I've enjoyed the ones you've done. Lots of other artists and much of the other non-classical mysic I still love is longer and with deeper lyrics than your average (I guess that can be said of Nightwish but I mean more generally). So for exampke, one of my favourite musicians is Jackson Browne who has written short songs but also many long and deeply felt ones. Late for rhe Sky, for example is a favourite album and the title track I really love. Hes a great man too - environmentally aware and a deep thinker. I am happy with the way you do things. Some reaction channels have disappeared but not necessarily due to copyright so until you get acstrike I eouldnt worry. Life experience and music go together - the sort of people I listen to are, in fact, presentations of experiences of life . Going back to Jackson Browne, when my father died of Covid, I played JB's "Of Missing Persons" repeatedly through many sleepless nights. A song written for Inara George when her father, and JB's friend, the great Lowell George of Little Feat, died . There are many songs he has written that come from personal experience. To get a flavour of the man I recommendcwstching the video of Bruce Springsteen inducting him into the Hall of Fame. (Which telks you something of thecrespect for him in the music industry.) Whatever you do with the channel, the main thing, I think, is to be true to yourself and do what you enjoy. Advice is difficult in a general environment - advice depends on personal situations really and is hard to generalise.
