It's a joke how we say we have rehabilitation in our legal system yet when it comes to sex offenders it's all non stop punishment. From the many vids I've seen its all cruel how a murderer, a multi convicted drug dealer, maybe even a pimp can reintegrate back into society after "paying theirr debt" with little to no resistance, and yet sex offenders are placed under insane restrictions. Even first time offenders who never commit another crime are treated like cattle for slaughter by the system that can throw them into a mental hospital forever after already serving their time all because some doctor says they are liable to re offend when they don't know that. Seeing how a small single digit of those on the registry re offend verses the rest who haven't for years yet are forced to still be treated like second class citizens is just wrong. We even have kids on that registry who didn't know any better yet society has claimed them the same as all adult sex offemders. Thinking it's all the same when it's not and it's bull. Politicians running campaigns to push their secret agendas just to rally the public blindly into passing more insane restrictions that someday might go for all crimes. People will be on registry for DUI crimes, speeding tickets, back child support, or even something as stupid as littering. It just upsets me how we have so much more knowlege about how truly insane these laws are against sex offenders yet thanks to those who get rich off of filling beds in prisons hardly anyone is smart enough to realize what they are doing is wrong until it happens to someone they know or love. It's not a one size fits all amd the restrictions as well all need to be redone. Made more in detail and allow true forgiveness fir those who haven't re offended in years. Or even those who were just kids then never offended again shouldn't be treated like the 5 percent on that registry who do. It's all needing redone cause of how insane it all is. Rehabilitation shouldn't be just a joke as part of the system.

I think the current laws are insanely over reaching. Not only is a person deprived of their liberty for life, but most of the restrictions and requirements are "feel good" measures that are simply not effective and cost the rest of us money. Benjamin Franklin once said that when a people give up their rights for security, they deserve neither. In this case, the right to liberty is abridged for life as we have legislated a second class of citizen in this country. What does work are things like Texas's 2 strike law. If a convicted sex offender ever commits the same offence again, he or she is automatically sentenced to life without parole. That's pretty strong incentive, i'd say. If you are in favor of "just shoot them all" then it's clear you would rather just not think about the subject. What if it were someone you knew? your spouse, your brother, your father or, God forbid, your child. Think of how these laws would impact you as a 3rd party. He's right, most s.o. go on to never reoffend in that way. It's only a small single digit percentage that does. Those people are removed from society permanently, as is right.

Rape no longer means rape and the protected class is "honest" in the eyes of court. I have met females who have made it their life mission to get males in trouble by exploiting their children. The sex offender in this video by suggesting his targeting an 11 year old female victim was not the issue when it is the central issue. An 11 year old child is NOT a consenting adult. This pervert is in SERIOUS DENIAL about the sex crime he committed. What's worse his combative evasive behavior to the question about how he handles his perverted desires is proof these monsters should never be allowed in any community. Any grown man who has sex with an 11 year old child is a paedophile. This guy who raped an 11 year old baby is a sick perverted paedophile and he like all paedophile's tried to manipulate the show host asking the questions to focus only on his perverted agenda. There is no treatment for sex offenders except prison wall keep them away from human society therapy. If judges allow sex offenders to have the right to get off the sex offender registry people will take the law into their own hands and sex offenders will be killed. A normal loving mom and dad will fight, kill and die for their kids. I think sex offenders once they are free should live in communities by themselves away from the people they would otherwise victimize. lol most sex offenders are parents and family members it ain't some random boogie man who harm the kids..
@MrMowzr2 ай бұрын
Everyone is not the same just like he stated. The problem resides on both ends of the spectrum. The parents, victim and the defendant. Parents let there kids in social media at such a young age with no monitoring or knowledge of the platform. The victim despite how old shouldn't be talking to adults in the first place and if so should not continue sexual advancement or invoke it. The defendant shouldn't have done what he did but the fact of the matter all parties are at fault in some way. Some sex offenders were 18 years old and were involved with students in there own school being a freshman and it's just status. Your see it in movies all the time about freshman trying to hook up with older classmates for status or to just be cool. So someone caught up in that who is 18 who made a mistake deserves to be locked away forever or killed? I don't think so I think that's cruel. And for the parents who take it in there own hands committed murder and now will be taken away from their family when all they had to do was leave the situation alone and allow those who want to change and do better to do so. The problem is no one is thinking and just doing. For some it's a mental illness that needs treatment not prison. And for some they just made a dumb mistake. Unless you are seeking to target kids and and stuck in your ways and don't want help than yes those should be locked away, but not every case and person is the same and society looks at all the same, that's just the truth of society.😮

+Kyesha Alexander I know people who were molested, and they were able to move on with their lives. They were even able to FORGIVE their abuser. They chose to move on, rather than remain a victim the rest of their lives. Also not all sex offenders committed their offence as an adult. Some of them committed their offence when they were 13-15 years old. A child as a matter of fact. I know a kid who was 13 years old when he committed his offence. His family reported the crime to the police, and the police did nothing for FOUR YEARS. During those four years he voluntarily went into counseling to get help. His victim and the victims family all supported him in his decision to get help. During those four years he never committed any new offences. One month before he was going to turn 18 years old, the state decides to charge him. They want to charge him as an adult, for a crime he committed as a CHILD. The prosecution loses that argument, and the, now, young man is charged as a juvenile. He gets sent to juvenile detention for a week. Because he is not allowed contact with minors, he spends that week in solitary confinement. When he gets out, he continues to finish, what is now court ordered, treatment. He passes every single court ordered treatment polygraph with flying colors. He completes the treatment program. The probation office then recommends that the young man get off probation EARLY. The judge agreed with probation and he was released rom probation seven months early. He worked hard every day to right the wrong he did, and is continuing to do so to this very day.In my opinion someone like that young man deserves to be able to move on with his life.

@@redeemingpatriot3487 I'm not saying that it does not happen what I'm saying is that less than 5% of any registrant commit the same kind of offense when you go for ones that have victims under the age of 12 that percentage is lower if I'm not mistaken it's around 3.1 or 3.2 now I'm not trying to make excuses for people who have a sickness and who are doing something that they should not do all I'm saying is that unless they want to go through an individual assessment which is going to take a lot of time and money that we should not just lump everybody in the same kind of category it would be the same thing as saying that all pitbull dogs are dangerous we know that's not a fact but that stereotype took hold and had a lot of people scared turn around when they were really educated and shown the truth some of them decide to still hang on to it some decide to Let It Go the choice is up to the person.

@@redeemingpatriot3487 rationality comes from personal experience and as far as opening up a dialogue that seems all well and good but I would recommend that you would say all the information that you have all the people that you have within your circle of conversation and getting in touch with organizations like narsol or women against registry they can give you a lot more insight and how to approach even scratching the surface of the failed science experiment.

So if someone pees in public behind a tree or behind a car, and another person purposely walks over and sees them. That’s a sex crime. Not that person that had to pee is now locked up for how many years, has to register, and do probation and take a therapy class. But then someone can kill someone and get locked up and get out just fine and nothing more. And that’s fair how? Please explain
