Oh my dear sister in Christ. I know exactly what you mean by saying Ghana is the best. I live in Canada and I've been here for over 30 years and the loneliness is unbelievable. You might have all the food in the world, you might have the money but Ghana is the best place to be. As you were saying in summertime it is so hot without a breeze, it is so difficult. We thank God and hopefully one day we shall meet in our beautiful motherland Ghana. God bless our Homeland Ghana.

Really? The only thing I don't like about Canada is the cold. Apart from that, nothing really makes me miss Ghana apart from maybe the easy access to good food.

Adwoa, you are beautiful! 🥰 However, what she is saying is not entirely true. A qualified Ghanaian can work for an international/global organizations [or similar entities], even fresh from Ghana on condition that the person has legal immigration status. For example, if one has a PhD, MS or MA in economics, finance [or any other degrees in the sciences, social sectors] from Legon or KNUST or similar acclaimed universities in Africa, one can get a job in such organizations although can be very competitive. Also, in other career areas where licensing are required [e.g. medical doctors-MD] to practice, one has to enroll in the appropriate learning institutions to prepare for certification examinations and pass before one can practice as an MD, for instance. This does not necessarily mean that the degrees from Ghana are inferior or otherwise but simply to be able to better assimilate in such careers in western countries such as the UK and the USA.

@@victoriabrown765 yes that’s the feeling when uve not been there.I remember when I was in the uni,I really wanted to go to Uk n leave my studies.I tried 3 times n I was refused visa.so I just told myself I will never go to the embassy again. After 9 years I thought I should give my kids (6 n 4 years) traveling experiences.we applied,I did express n within 4 days our visas came.we went for 3 weeks .After a week my kids started pressuring me n counting days every morning.mummy when are we going to Ghana, mummy when are we going to Ghana. Not that they were uncomfortable ooo cos we rented a very luxurious 2 bedroom apartment n paid 5000 GH a day(central London, park plaza) ,we went out to tourist sites everyday but still we were bored. Then I realized Ghana is indeed home.

Adwoa Saah, stop generalising, its only hard to get a 3bedropm hoise in the London areas and it's surroundings like where u live in MK, where I live a 3bedroom house is only £500 n most people can afford that so don't give false information
