AE Forest - An Enduro Gem!

Ae Forest is an incredible place to ride a mountain bike!
It has a stunning network of natural off piste tech trails that leave you very satisfied (and in some conditions pretty humbled) and for those living south of the Scottish borders, it's roughly an hour closer than the MTB Mecca of Golfie/Innerleithen/Glentress making it way more convenient for a visit during the darker months.
There is off course red and blue trails along DH tracks and an uplift and there's a fantastic sense of community and a really warm atmosphere about the forest and visitors centre.
If you haven’t been yet, then make it your next Enduro day out and I guarantee you will leave with a smile your face.

Nice vid again. May be up in area for couple days in couple weekends time....are any of these or others youve ridden there good first time off-piate enduro traila? Quarry bottom section looks good, love the greenery. Looking on trail forks seems like there's a fair bit that could mash up with official red trail....

Quarry bottom would probably be the only one I would recommend having a go at, the others are all pretty steep and fairly techy. Yes, some of the off piste tracks can be linked with the red for sure. It’s a great forest, enjoy!
