Poongko with a big drop in the 2nd round of the 8th game. If he hadn't missed his link into cr. MP(which I assume was what he was going for), he could have finished the combo and probably stunned Latif after that. Even if the follow up combo didn't kill, Vipers life would be so low you could probably chip kill at that point. Regardless that was a great set from both guys.

thats not seth's game. seth has no health to work with, so playing recklessly is the only way that makes sense and is why poongko is one of the best seth players. calculated risk taking is for zoning characters, seth has nothing to lose.

I'm sorry but top players doing random dp's doesnt mean the game itself is scrub friendly. It's an effective metagame utilised by some of the top bracket of players- specifically ones with great yomi. Also no way is Poongko better than Latif.

Exactly. Poongko is so much better than Latif right now it's hilarious. Latif just won because Poongko kept messing up, not because he played better. This is why SF now is kind of stupid and scrub friendly, you can still win by doing random dps and mashing jab or doing random ultras. People say it doesnt work at top level by Daigo and poongko do random dps all the time and they are amazing players....

Or instead of arguing who's better, we can just say that both players are playing characters that are chock full of bullshit. They're both good players, Poongko can play KOF very well, and Latif is a top Guilty Gear player. Both of which are much harder games to play at a professional level. Nobody is arguing that. But c'mon, both of these characters are high execution but have a ton of bullshit.
