CC Force Motion Blur does certainly work no doubt about that! I mean, a blur can only be so perfect, but it's the RENDER TIMES that are a drag with CC Force Motion Blur! But it's still a great solution as StrobeFireStudios mentions :)

Note: I only use several plugins because I have them. You do NOT need anything for this tutorial except Plexus. CC Force Motion Blur can replace RSMB. Color correction and color grading can be done without Magic Bullet Looks.

If the shape of your graph is weird, make sure you clicked the f9 key after selecting your keyframes. Then simply click the graph button.

Always enjoy your tutorials. Only suggestion/complaint is that you would want to create a tutorial with the assumption not everyone has the complete plug ins added that you do. So maybe using Plexus, then using all standard effects to show people how to do them without the 3rd party plugins. If people had the plugins then it would be pretty much assumed they'd use those, and would know how to use them.

Thanks for the suggestion Danny, I completely understand what you're saying. In future tutorials, I will try to limit the use of 3rd party plugins. Fortunately, I still provide alternate ways to do it without 3rd party plugins (such as CC Force Motion Blur instead of RSMB). Thanks again for your advice!

CC Simple Wire Remover...Place point A and point B on both end and copy paste the effect and do the same for the other line :) Hope this helps

Yo, loved the tutorial but I have a quick question. When you use the copilot flares you state that you could get the same effect with a simple solid. How would you go about doing that?

Thanks! Correct, the way I use lens flares is more of an ambient light more than anything. You can create a bright solid, create a circle mask, and feather the hell out of it, then apply a glow. It will give you a similar ambient glow.

Yes, Plexus 1 doesn't have all the features in Plexus 2 that I used.

You're getting it because you're either using pirated or demo plugins. Purchase the full license of the plugins to get rid of the watermark.

would u believe if I say that "I have learned AE after watching almost all of your videos here for just 2 hrs?".perhaps too early to be called as an AE guy..(not after watching the small promo that I have just made for one of my client's upcoming movie, would you say that it's too early eh)....you've got some serious tutorials here, that I haven't found so far anywhere.. Those posted by other geniuses took forever for me to understand the difference between their workspace and mine..while on the other hand "you" rock!! not just because your tutorials are specially picked and really wanted tutorials on the internet but your videos also teach lot of short cut keys...which I feel is equally important to know as it gives the creativity no halt in the flow.....for those who feel that most of your tutorials have shown the use of third party stuffs (plugins)....1) I disagree...I feel that in most of your videos you have tried to put efforts to teach stuffs which could be done without having much knowledge about the software overall and the plugins...so that any damn viewer can learn it.... 2) Even if there are plugins used then how long would it take for anyone to get them across the internet huh? least time than watching anyone of your videos in any case...KEEP IT UP!!

Idk if someone will answer but it's worth trying. I'm doing this on an AI file, which has vector objects in it as it's a logo. It's a very very simple logo with one color and mostly unified geometric shapes, picture it as "nike" type of simple. Somehow when I add geometry, and have the same settings as the ones in the video, I don't end up with any points showing up. How can i see my points o.o somebody please help.

I know this is a late reply but I hope its still helps. For this to work, the shapes need to be masks. Best way to do it with an illustrator logo is to create a new solid in AE, use the pen tool to create any mask in that solid. Go to illustrator and copy the logo shapes. Go back to AE and with the mask path selected (drill all the way down to the "Mask Path" aspect of the layer and paste your illustrator shapes. This should give you a new mask path for every illustrator shape you pasted. The plexus plugin will work on that.
