The highest degree of mercy is that your son or daughter be called, and that you forgive the murderer for the sake of God Almighty, and give him a new chance in life, and that you seek to direct him to the path of truth. And he taught him before him all the prophets of God and the messengers from God, such as our master Moses, may blessings and peace be upon him, and our master Jesus, may blessings and peace be upon him. He's a true believer. He knows that God will reunite him with his son in the afterlife and that nothing he could do now will bring him back. Instead of continuing the cycle of anger, hatred and revenge, he decided to break it and help his son's killer hopefully find faith and peace, as well-in addition to everyone in that courthouse and now everyone on the internet who see this. He has transformed the aftermath of a horrible act and experience into something positive in the bigger picture of things. The true believer is always aware of that bigger picture, lives by it, and tries to show other people it so they can live by it, as well. He's a true man of God and a saintly being, may he be rewarded for his actions. "All Praise is for God, Lord of All Worlds The Most Compassionate, Most Merciful Master of the Day of Judgment You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help Guide us along the Straight Path The path of those you have blessed-not those You are displeased with or those who are astray." @@ahsanlodhi4773 My reason is that the dad, being the tragic character in the story because of what he is going through, instead of approaching the problem at the core and dealing with the killer, he instead shifts the blame, which to be honest is pretty common with people going through situations as terrible as his, and blames the infalsifiable supernatural instead. This might not be the saddest thing I've ever seen but it is one of the saddest because you can't really blame the dad since he is going through so much sentimental pain but you also can't call him brave and honest because he isn't actually confronting the problem and truly forgiving the killer and everyone in the comment section is giving him false credit.
@noobslayer8154 жыл бұрын
@@Gxlto I think that you saying that he is shifting the blame is you being close-minded. You didn't truly understand what he meant by the devil. Try and understand what he actually means by blaming the devil.
@bintangassyifa4 жыл бұрын
@@Gxlto this is super interesting. I guess you could see it that way. But most people of faith believe that humans are good and are misguided by the devil. Obviously this man hold such conservative view, but I think you can't say that his forgiveness is not genuine or misdirected. Only he (and God) knows is he truly forgives the killer or not. I understand that maybe you don't believe in God, and thats okay. I just think that we shouldn't discredit his forgiveness :)

The fathers forgiveness is his only doorway to his own healing. The guilt of the murderer will consume him for 25 years. Very emotional... not only for victims and families but you can see that this is not common and there were tears from the legal team as well as the judge. I cried too and dont know any of these people. But the father is a special man who wont let hate and blame consume him like cancer. I send prayers and healing to all affected by this tragic crime.
