@Mister Brookes discipline doesn't cause people to become addicts. Lack of discipline and accountability does. The father was the only person that could have actually prevented this behavior by just being present and teaching her values. My daughters (6 and 3) know when to listen, be respectful, and admit when they're wrong. They're very young, but compared to their friends that are in the same age groups they are far ahead in that aspect. My father would discipline me verbally and sometimes physically when I got out of line. That's how productive people are made. This is a big reason why we have so much wasted talent in this world right now, because last generations and this generations parents are too scared to implement corporal punishment. It creates entitled, whiny brats that don't know what real life is.

I have 5 years clean now. I was addicted to opioids and heroin . I now have a son , a job and a car. I’ve gained my families trust and respect back. My son is in daycare and is almost three. I pray for anyone who is using and struggling to get clean. You can do it! And all the hard times , pain and struggle is worth it in the end. I don’t even think about getting high anymore. The first year or two was hard. But it is so worth it. You just have to want it ! Stay strong

Her parents have taught her how to shove down emotion and avoid vulnerability. The drugs now allow her to do that effortlessly. You can tell she felt absolutely nothing during her intervention. It was only good that she heard that to reflect on later. I pray for lost souls like this 🙏🏼 too many people I know personally who have been there or are there right now. God bless you Natasha. I can only imagine what the mom is going through and that's her mom's only way to have peace in her life... is knowing that her daughter comes home every night and that she's safe and not living on the dangerous streets every night. Her mom is doing everything possible to get help for her daughter, she has her on this show "Intervention" so leave her mom alone.

True. Never done, only speed type stimulants and drink a lot. It might not be the same addiction as heroin where you're actually hooked physically and you'll have a horrible brutal withdrawal that could be fatal (not as common as alcohol but can still happen). However, the mental part can be just as bad.
