That is looking really good!! I know your goal is to get it running before you leave SC, but are you going to try and get it painted as well. Or you going to do that when you get to AZ? Can't wait to see the other updates!!

Thanks!!! Paint work is going to happen after the move to AZ

Good morning I also fitted this suspension and with the roads in very poor condition here in Belgium I have swift springs in 6 and 4.7 What hardness settings did you set? For example - X click starting from the hardest at the front and the same for the rear Thanks

I'm in Arizona, USA with really smooth roads so I'm not sure my settings will work well for you. With the dampers adjusted all the way low, rebound is "slower". I would start at the lowest setting, then adjust up from there until you find what you're looking for.

As always very informative. Thank you. Do you remember how many inches you left between the top of the spring perch and the lock ring?

That’s on the rears. You showed the measurements on the front and thank you for that, it helps a lot.

I don't remember exactly what the measurements were for the front. I don't think I touched the front for spring preload. I might need to raise the front though - now that the suspension had settled the front looks a little bit lower than the rear

I know this video is a year old but wondering would this type of coilover do you have to remove everything to adjust the height all the time
@DoctoredGarage4 ай бұрын
Sort of - the rear spring adjuster do sit kind of up in the body and they're hard to get to. Usually I'll unbolt the shock bodies from the axle and lower the whole axle down to adjust ride height

@DoctoredGarage okay I've got a set of aimgain coilovers that I've never been able to get any instructions on and I just wanted to know if the fronts were going to be a super paying adjusting the height. They're going on a 2002 Infiniti Q45 or what they call a Nissan F50
@DoctoredGarage4 ай бұрын
That should be real easy to adjust front ride height with everything on the car.
