I recently just bought a hatch like yours, since you went single weber I still highly recommend you buy a fuel pressure regulator. These Weber's don't require a lot of fuel and they will run rich due to the amount of fuel. Autozone sells a fpr for like 30 bucks if you get it but set it to 3 or 4 psi. The stock fuel pump you have if im not mistaken outputs 7psi of fuel which is a lot. Currently have a ae86 sr5 coupe with a weber and a ae86 sr5 hatch thats getting dual carb sidedrafts. Cant wait to see what you do with this.

Good idea, I’ve ran webers before only needed a regulator if I ran a electric in-line pump. But worth a shot for sure!

Doing similar work on my XR4Ti. Bought some body hammers and a Harbor Frieght body pin welder. Keep up the good work ❤

you will swap 4A for sth with more power like beams 3sge or 4AGE?
@jtizle829 ай бұрын
My last 86 did black top 20v and 16v prior to that. Not sure what the plan is for this one. Would like to rock the 4ac for now. Beams would be cool… I have a bunch of other swapped cars that kind of ruin the reliability.. reason why I wanna just keep this one stock.

In the states sr5 is ae86 and gts is ae88. I get what you are saying tho 😂 I’ve had a 20v and 16v, enjoying the 4ac for what it is
