I don't know for sure it could The difference between the heavy projectile and the light projectile meaning the heavier bullet is making more of an arc and the lighter slug. It's more flat shooting. Either way, great channel really educational, enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the awesome work the h*** with the critics LOL.

Really like the the mods you did to the riffle. Really some good ideas. We'll done brother 🙏 also just noticed on the video how much air your using. Have you looked into a regulator/ plenum kit? Bintac does have them simple mod and will help you with air and dialing that beast in a little better

Great video as usual. It's still the ugliest air rifle out there. but beauty never put food on the table. would I buy one? most definitely. however, as I stated to you a few months back. I am now severely vision impaired and can no longer shoot. I have 37 never-fired air guns (medium-very high-end customs). I cannot afford to pay shipping on this donation to you. with good weather and barring a nuke, I plan on a trip to N. Mi. this summer. and I will bring them with me along with several thousand pellets/slugs from Mr. Hollowpoint (various calibers and weights). in the meantime, I will keep listening.

I have AEA HP MAX in .50 caliber 6 shot haven’t shot cause I feel like the slug would never stop if I shot in the city but dry fire it will make your ears ring it’s like a gun with bullets bigger than a 9 mm with hellcat supercharger on it ✌🏾

About the location of where the slugs were going. I've found during my 60 years of reloading many weights of bullets at different speeds that the faster a bullet exits the barrel the lower it will strike the target. The slower bullets allow the barrel to raise just a milli-second more but long enough for the bullet to exit the barrel when it is raised just a fraction more. I haven't shot PCP rifles but I have shot and reloaded everything from .22 varmint calibers to .375 African calibers. Just saying . . .

Man your element is shooting a lot slower than mine. Not bragging! Just wanted to point that out. Mine was shooting around 880. Then I switched to a wolf fire arms spring in both my valve pin and hammer spring. It picked up 110 fps now it’s shooting at 990 with a .50 cal 260 grain. I casted some 200g alloy pellets out of lead free solder it’s and getting 1040fps. I’m going to champer and smooth all the airports probably next week. Would love to get it shooting Mr hollow point 235g at 1090fps.

@@Dan-rw5wk I’m not sure what gun they were designed to fit originally. But you have to call them and tell them measurements, the gauge of wire used for the spring the number of coils of the spring the diameter of the spring and the length of the spring. I did have it wrote down but I can’t find the paper I wrote it on. I do remember I added one coil to the number of coils a but I don’t remember how many thousandths I added to add that extra coil.

@@Dan-rw5wk no a added to valve spring only, the problem with the element and other Aea models is not the valve seats or in in the case of the element the valve pin as Aea and the retailers would have you believe. It’s the cheap untempered spring they use. They compress and don’t hold their shape preventing adequate pressure. I have pressed this issue with the pellet shop bentac and Aea hopefully they got the point and Aea made changes to the quality of their springs.

@@scinner28 AEA has a compressor that they say will go to 7000psi.. but that won't be available in the u.s... everything will be 4500psi here

Hey I'm new to air gunning I have a 50,30,And the 58.This is about getting my deer. No buddy Talks about shooting 100 to 150 yards. I'm looking to hear about what grain slug should I used to get the job done. I do neck Shots only. No tracking no dragging. To do a neck shot at 100 should be no problem with the Zeus 58.What grain do you think i should use. My wife hunts as well. She gets really upset if the deer is not dead when we walk up to get the deer. .Any help would be great. Thanks Ed

With the 58 I would try to stay under 550gr for longer shots more speed and flatter shooting ... At 100 to 150 yards shots become unpredictable. The deer has more then enough time to react that's why most people stay under 100 yards.. make sure you know your rifle is dead nuts and know that deer is focused enough on something that it would be moving around

@@MichiganAirgunner. I’m gonna take it apart anyway no matter how nice. Plus I’m on a budget so I got an AEA .30 32” barrel for five hundred. Then added regulator. Then added barrel bands (3 actually). Plus scope I’ve spent over one thousand but I did it piece by piece fitting my budget over time. It is tuned down now for bench rest. 100 ftlbs with 54 JSB and on a calm day shoots 3/4” at one hundred yards more like 1.5 on normal breezy days but I don’t feel like I miss an FX at all which is good as I couldn’t swing that financially at this time
