HOLY 'strength' WoW !!! Even as V3 falls off the nest hanging on to that squirrel, Gabrielle held on to it. AH mazing !!! Gabrielle held the "WEIGHT" of both squirrel & V3, even while V3 was trying like heck to fly away using all his force, & he still could NOT beat her STRENGTH !!! Did I say AH mazing? If I did? It's well worth saying it TWICE (wink). "THANK YOU "D" for sharing this moment in Time with us (smiles & a BIG STRONG hug) GOD BLESSES ALL. Footnote: If I was V3? I'd be super happy I was in LOVE with such a strong Lady & I'd be hoping she saves me a piece of that squirrel.

Hard to tell at this stage, but he's sticking around! He won the first squirrel battle :D I liked how he stood guard for her and he did not re-enter the nest to try to take it back. All we can do is wait and see

They are getting along fine. Gabby is working on training right now, and V3 is not sure he wants to give her his food yet. Notice how he didn't try to take it back, but instead stood guard for her while she ate

The positive thing out of all of this is that V3 stood guard at the branch while she ate. He’s still learning, and I think they’re best hope is that they become a stronger couple and hope they come back and he’s ready and knows how to mate next season.
