AEG 8000 Series Powercare Cottons 40 Time save x2

Washing a load of brand new bedding with persil wonder wash odour defy liquid and comfort honeysuckle and sandalwood softener
real shame this one as overall this AEG is an absolutely fantastic machine but think this has to be the worst cottons cycle I've seen so far. yes, it's even worse than Beko Aquatechs fast x2 version 🥲 the machine spends more time mixing the detergent than it does heating the water and does a deep fill for the main wash to make saturation faster. because of this, you're lucky if it manages to get to just under 30. my expectations are so low for this cycle I'm really glad it reached what it got to. you can select up to 60 for this cycle but all temps do the exact same length of wash so 60 has absolutely no chance of reaching anywhere near the temp even with stains on.
the machine performs 2 short rinses and no interm spins to keep time to a minimum. thankfully persil wonder wash is very good when it comes to rinsing it out so it rinsed this load fine even without interm spins.
the final spin was limited to 1200rpm for some reason. it's very rare for this machine to limit the spin and if it does it only limits to 1200rpm which is still really good.
seems like AEG wanted this wash to be done as quick as possible. it managed to finish in under 40 minutes which is impressive to me but just a shame it's such a bad wash. it had a lot of potential 🥲
