These machines are the original LAVAMAT tanks of the late 1950s-early 1970s. They are the HIGHEST quality washers which I've ever seen. You only have to maintain them properly and they will continue lasting forever and ever with only small repairs needed from time to time. The incredibly heavy weight of 135Kg and the massive oscillating unit (containing the door/porthole, counterweights, engines, tub) with four helical springs keep the machine balanced as well, and if there is unbalance the machine won't even move at all, as you can see in many parts of the video. It also has a clutch-gear induction motor, with a clutch to start the spinning cycle and a brake to stop it quickly.

I have a AEG LAVAMAT BELLA Since i had 5 years old; now i have 55 years old and the washing machine is still working and never had any malfunction. This is what i call a SUPERB washing machine.

Love the Delux model, with out the door, if it only came in a rear model, like the Bauknecht 488s and the Bosch V-5.But AEG and Bauknecht had the same wash drums.

sehr gutes Video 😉. Für eine bessere Spülung setzen Sie beim 1. oder 2. Spülgang eine Souplinekappe direkt in den Wäschebehälter mit etwas Wasser und Sie werden sehen ..

certo eccoli: 1 accensione;1- 2 prelavaggio supplementare, risciacquo aggiuntivo, la macchina si metteva su A e funzionava fino alla centrifuga del prelavaggio, poi si arrestava e non continuava. 1-3 lavaggio delicato, lavaggio con acqua a alto livello ed esclusione centrifuga (era per la lana) era associato alla lettera E: 1-4 esclusione centrifuga per tutti i programmi lavaggio con acqua a livello normale

1960s: AEG Lavamat Bella, Clara, Regina. 2016: AEG Lavamat 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000 Series AEG Lavamat Bella was expensive back in those days! Idk about the other 2 washers but I'm sure these were expensive too, but I know about that cuz I have pictures of an AEG Lavamat Bella from a Vienna museum and it says it was expensive and the brand (AEG) was top quality. Very fascinating washing machine! AND THOSE INSANE SUDSLOCKS

Phantastische und dazu sehr gut erhaltene Maschine der 60er.Das Geräusch des Programmschaltwerk`s hat mich damals schon 1968 als siebenjähriger fasziniert-ebenso das abbremsen nach dem Schleudern Bei uns zuhause gab es damals leider nur die AEG turnamat,war eine teilautomatik-wegen der separaten,besseren Schleuder ( 2800u/min.)-musste aber leider nach dem waschen umgepackt werden.Die turnamat hatte leider nicht so ein melodisches Programmschaltwerk-und ohne Bullauge gab`s ja nix zu gucken.

The first automatic machines were made in the USA by Bendix and Westinghouse in the late 1930s. The earliest German automatic washer (a Miele built in the late 1940s) was a copy of the pre-war Bendix design. The use of a sprung drum to enable higher spin speeds without the machine being bolted down was also a Bendix USA innovation in 1953, and at first was prevented from being more widely adopted by Bendix patents. It wasn’t until about 1960 that European manufacturers started making such machines, by which time Bendix had been sold by AVCO to Ford's Philco subsidiary, who were more interested in making top-loading agitator washers.

Weil die Maschine einem "Temperaturstopp" hat. Das Schaltwerk geht erst dann wieder weiter wenn die Temperatur erreicht ist.

Die hatte mehr Programme als das deutsche Fernsehen damals. Die Bella lief bei uns 16Jahre, dann noch ein paar Jahre bei einem Freund, der hat sie dann den Nachmietern überlassen. Und wenn sie nicht geborsten ist, dann wäscht sie auch noch heute...

Ja,da war AEG noch Qualität,eben "Aus Erfahrung Gut" ich habe eine LAVAMAT NOVA 801 von 1980,die läuft bis jetzt OHNE REPARATUR!!! Die besten Maschinen,die es je gab,bis etwa 1983,dann kam der Thomson Schrott. Diese Maschinen mit wankeltüren und ohne Faltenbalg sind einfach unkaputtbar!

So ein schönes altes Baby würde ich aber nicht bis obenhin mit Wäsche vollstopfen, da leiden die Lager und die Wicklung vom Motor nur unnötig. Ich hatte so meine AEG DOMINA gekillt (heul) Hach, das war noch deutsche Handwerkskunst und echte Wertarbeit^^
