I fitted mine with 3 Quarrelers and took my first bounty mission, target went bang with less than a second burst. Not gonna use a gatling again, they run our of amo too fast and aren't more efficient, I tested it during the XTG event and can compare. I don't understand this fascination for trhose guns. Energy guns like this Quarreler works just fine, doesn't need to reload at a station, probably have more range and are more efficient against larger targets.

This was released before cannon meta. You should try FL-33s they have no spread.

Thanks SUB for the update going with a PVE build, I'm hoping the finished game will have some kind of PVE only option, I don't like dealing with A$$ hat griefers that just like to take all the joy out of games.

Yeah unfortunately (for you) I can guarantee it will NOT have a system like that. It goes against everything they have set out to make. But maybe systems can be more fleshed out to allow you to make money trading, salvaging, or whatever. And hire either NPC security or player security.

They did talk about a PVP slider in the early days, where it would limit the amount of players that can interact with you.

have you noticed that the rattlers now don't seem to hit with the cluster missiles? for me they just shoot out in a star pattern and dont seem to hit the target....

I'm having the same issue, but my suspicion is that I'm firing way too close to the minimum range of the missile and that's somehow janking the lock

If you get a friend who's willing to die, you could do tests and see if it's simply being too close like you suspect.

The distortion weapons now works perfectly.. if you equip your Gladius with 2 distorsion cannon on the wing and 1 laser repeater on the nose... you drain all the opponent shields in two hits... then they are simply dead... with a single s1 short range missile or with a couple of shots of yours ndb-30 (This loadout works perfectly even if you downscale to all size 2 gimbal weapons). About the shields.. FR66 + Palisade gives you the best balance between regen and max HP. About the rest, I agree.

what about the power though? Wouldnt a js-300 or a breton be a better paired with the slipstream than the regulus?

Please watch the power plant guide. It will save your life. Edit maybe I misunderstood you. I've since edited this load out with distortions and added a JS-300 with the slip.

I just bought gladius and I want my panthers to have more ammo how do I do that?, I like that they regenerate is there any similar weapons which regenerates and has a lot more ammo?

More honorable mentions for the lightstrike 3s and attrition 3s since they can both be run from the stealth power plant. The lightstrikes in particular are even more stealthy than ballistic cannons. I actually had my IR signature down below 5k.

@@SubliminaLstv They are not. They are almost as stealthy as the Mantis though. I would call them 'pick your battles' stealthy. You can almost always see the other guy first, and if you don't like what you see, well he never knew you were there in the first place.

I have been experimenting with load out as well, appart for the weapon load out to which I always return (3 X Quarellers, Ignite II and Arrester III). My last loadout is an atempt to make the Gladius L.O (Low Observable). So your suggestions were welcome. I figured that the Slipstream Powerplant allows for all the upgrades I was looking for except for one, the Stealth Quantum Drives: I tried to fit a Drift, trading a reduction in range for a lower signature but couldn't get it to run for lack of power. It would be useful to know where to find powerdraw stats for those devices. Other than that, using a Voyage instead, the ship is very efficient for PvE. My only problem now is to get missiles reloaded in other stations than New Babbage and Port Tressier.

I think the cat was the last buyers guide with the Loadout included. It isn't that old. I think the weapons are buffed for some of the turrets so you'll need to just update them. Maybe ill update mine in the discord. Here's hoping I don't forget.

Outside the weapons, I was already using the same build. 👍🏼 As for the weapons, full ballistics or energy seems to give us a 10 min long combat… At least, ballistics pass through the shields a bit. Still, on my side, is seems that desync is really a big problem when trying to hit anything…

Just a Question: Why use the Atlas over the Burst? The Burst is faster than the Atlas, but can still make the PO-Microtech Trip (with 5 Mkm range to spare) The 62 Mkm Range is off course shorter than the 93 Mkm Range that the Atlas has to offer. But I never really need more range than PO-Microtech

You sir have made a grave mistake that I too almost made 😂. You are looking at the drives on the default erkul page... The 100i is the default ship right now and it has 700+ quantum fuel. The Gladius only has 583 or something like that. Now your question should be about the voyage I don't choose it because people riot about not using the atlas because its much more efficient and only slightly slower.

@@SubliminaLstv 😂 Ah ok. Yeah makes sense. With the 58? Quantum Fuel the Atlas really is a great choice. PO-MICROTECH is only 5 Seconds slower than with the Voyage, but it has 13Mkm more range. Thanks for the Answer.

Do u have an opinion of fixed vs gimballed? playing on the PU has so much desync it seems nearly impossible to fly fixed unless u get lucky with a good server

The servers have been fine for me. I use fixed but if you really think its bad try changing. I have had dysinc be that bad but I just leave that server and try another.

You will lose them if you don't remove them before they take it away. So just make sure you take them off before the end of the month.

SubliminaL thanks man. I’m new to pvp was using attrition and I was in a long ass fight I wound up winning because my opponent ran out of ammo. To be honest my attrition’s didn’t seem to be doing damage am I doing something wrong? They were Oced

I have been having issues this patch with sheilds taking damage but then not showing it. But then the enemy blows up anyway. Try PVE and see if it does it there. It could just be the servers being delayed with showing shield damage.

Missiles are not useless. They just aren't an almost unavoidable buggy mess like they used to be (especially Cross Section). Just spamming your Target with missiles is No longer an instant win. You can still make them work. You just have to shoot them at the right Moment. But I still think they should buff the Damage of missiles. I would currently recommend using EM Missiles (most fightes only Carey 5 Chafs)

They are temporary. The Gladius and Glaive you received are temporary and will be gone at the end of the month.

John Smith if you buy them with real money on the website then yes, you keep them. If you buy them in game with in-game currency (aUEC) then no. i’ve reached out to the devs with that same question and thats what they told me

@@PharaohofVibes If you buy them with in-game currency you keep them until they do a full reset with a future patch. The last couple of patches have been persistent meaning ships and aUEC were carried over (for the most part). The loaner ships like the gladius that everyone has for free right now are only temporary.

I just paid 50 people 50k each to let me kill them. Lol. I was able to sneak in a few freebies and trades as well just to be comfortably over 50. I started with the Glaive and it's a buggy mess. I definitely wouldn't have been able to get 10 unique kills let alone 50 with it by the end of the month.
