You should see the Bengal carrier, it's much larger. Keep an eye out for it in IAE. It was the "backup" the UEE sent in phase 10 Pirate Swarm for a brief time during evo testing of 3.23. It was massive and glorious!

The Javelin Destroyer is an Auxiliary Aircraft Destroyer Class, while the Bengal Carrier is supposed to be an Aircraft Cruiser Class with it's Size and Dimensions too small to be an actual Carrier Class category. Meanwhile the Retribution Dreadnought is an actual Battleship Class Dreadnought.

I'm in wave one so I have seen the enormous improvements of this patch. Playing the wave 1 patch was the worst type of self torture thus far in my life. But for CIG and the game it was important to just keep going and sharing your findings. I was testing bounties at Crusader and did a MRT on Cellin. Once on the site there was a javelin just laying idle on the moon's surface. Was exited cause it was the first time I'd seen one in the game. It didn't do anything, was just sitting there. It was not broken or soft-dead. So I was slowly hovering next and over it and taking it all in. Work of beauty IMO. And then, like after 5 minutes, it turned red and ALL of it's turrets started shooting me. Took the ship like 23 nano seconds to turn me into space dust. Totally worth it haha

Javelin is literally a large FPS level in any other game. And that Javelin is a bit larger than one engine on the Bengal so that gives you scope…THEN the UEE flagship…the Bengal is the size of 1 engine of that ship (The Retribution). The bays in front are Size 12 Torpedos. Takes an 80 man crew to fully crew it. Then the side Turrets have turrets themselves. So it has larger guns the smaller guns for light fighters.

Javelins have been assisting with Zeno Threat missions at least since I started playing in 3.18, maybe even before? Never seen one with what looks like the "new" model though. Nice job sneaking some of the interior! I absolutely CANNOT wait for Capital class multicrew. Going to be so insane

both the top and bottom quad turrets are size 9's, and its a Destroyer! What you saw, it's STILL MISSING GUNS LOL. all those blue lights on the body of the hull? those are turret / cannon combo ports, with the 2 front tubes being size 12 torpedo launchers.

The Javelin has been NPC manned for a while. Should be some videos of players fighting it every year for the last 2 years while it was touring around for Invictus. And I am sure someone has already said, but when it docs at space port, you can take the interactive tour.

CIG really needs to adjust acceleration and deceleration values for their ships. Since every movement of your ship happens almost instantly, the Javelin does not look big, but like a small model.

Soo the Ship you found is actually missing all of its 'side' guns. That destroyer not only has the two main turrets with 4 guns on each top and bottom, but it also has 6 (3 on each side) dual barrel turrets with smaller twin miniguns on the sides, and 3 smaller turrets along its belly as well. Those two 'holes' you saw at the nose, are torpedo tubes.

Im not sure where I read it or heard it, but is the Javelin not supposed to be released shortly after SQ42? The Idris was supposed to be released when the game was, and the Jav shortly after. As well, since it's in SQ42 it should have most of it's innards ready to go!

This ship is amazing and its not even the largest ship in the game. BTW - there is no weapon in the front It just has a bunch of turrets. There are bigger ships planned.

Yeah, that's the destroyer, the Carrier - Bengal which is 3 times the size of that will be in the game later next week. Then you have the Dreadnought - Retribution... It's 3 times the size of the Bengal (yes you heard that right 12 times the size of the Javelin - the ship you just saw.)

it has 2x S12 torpedo tubes with 16 torpedos each, not 4. Those are not retrothrusters thats the torpedo tubes.

@@BizzMRK well I have tried to post this like 5 times now.... trying to find a way to show you the source. There are 2 racks, two torp rooms and 2 launchers a room. You will find it in the schematics where the 4 tubes are. The 4 tubes are close to the retros, there are 2 tubes a torpedo room and the Jav has 2 torp rooms. You are correct on the racks though.

Those weapons are not 10s but 8s. According to ship matrix it should have 2 turrets with 8s weapons and 11 with 6s. Weapon size 10 is what Idris carrier under its chin.

It doesn't have a proper interior, hence why the bridge windows are blacked out. The only parts of the interior that are present are the ones available during the javelin tour of past ILWs. The Javelin has been part of every xenothreat event and in 3.23 Idrises and Javelins can spawn in at bounties as allies.

In 3.23 Idrises and Javelins can spawn in at bounty missions either as allies or enemies. Other than that its not really that suprising tbh considering they are close to xenothreat which has always included an ally javelin and neither is it suprising that it has a partial interior since at past ILW's you were able to tour parts of it.

The quad laser on top and the bottom are 7's. Though, it's suppose to have 8 size 10 Destroyer style railguns on the top, 4 on each side, I think. Then it's suppose to have 4 laser turrets which I don't remember the size of those. I do know that it has 32 size 12 torps that it can launch.

The broadsides are size 7 and the quads are size 8 guns. It does not have 8 size 10 railguns. The Idris railgun is size 10.

@@infinitespace239 The Javelin has for the last couple of years been the ship you could tour during IAE, the ship would dock at every station the fleet visited and you'd be able to tour the interior, but not the whole of it. It was CIG demonstrating AI interactions (there are NPC tour guides in each room) as well as letting people get a moderated look at the internals of a much sought after ship that will feature heavily in Squadron 42.
