Ok, I screwed up the first time I installed this, and didn’t put the trigger return spring in the correct orientation. Then I had the slide where it wouldn’t release. Then it dawned on me that I could “pull the trigger” without using the trigger. Took everything back apart, paid more attention to the video, and everything went together easily and smoothly. Great video, and Thanks!

Maybe this will help some with the trigger pull not working after install. I had that initially just as described by others. After removing the slide again and checking parts, nothing else seemed to let me pull the trigger when back together. On a whim, when the slide was off, i pushed down on the little center pin that goes down into the trigger (from much earlier in the install) it pushed in just a little bit more. After that, everything worked.

EASY PEASY! First time taking apart a firearm and did this in 25 minutes. Trigger looks goo and feel great. Cannot wait until next weekend to try it out! Love to get a guide rod next.

My LC 9S does not have a safety lever. Will this short stroke trigger application still work on it?

The Aegis Trigger works with both manual safety and non manual safety versions. So you are good to go.

With removing the disconnect plate, how does that affect the gun?

It will simply work like a normal pistol. The disconnect plate keeps the pistol from firing without a mag in. Removing it will allow you to fire your pistol without a mag in place.

Does the Aegis work with older Lc9s? I have an LC9 with the additional take down pin attached to the trigger spring.

Sorry, the Aegis Trigger only works with the LC9s. You'd need a Solomon Trigger Kit for the LC9.

Sorry, we do not test our products with other companies products to check for compatibility. We don't recommend using reduced power trigger return springs, but otherwise it should work fine.

Same here. Trigger will not operate. Went through thr reinstallation several times. No good. Replaced old trigger and it works fine.

I had the same issue and it was because I couldn't get 1/16" through pin to seat right. Of course you couldn't get the slide off becuase it was still clocked. What I had to do was to pull the pins that held the fire control group allowing the frame to be separated along with the slide . You will then need to remove the trigger bar and then you can release the trigger allowing you to remove the slide. Again make sure that the through pin is properly seated.

Would have been really nice to have found this video instead of the other one. Now I have an EC9s with the trigger disconnect installed, and lo and behold I have a gun that is cocked, and must be fired to take apart, but the trigger won't work. And why on earth, over a year later, is the other video still the one on the website for the installation video?

All you have to do its just take off the 2 frame holding pins, pull out the whole mechanism and make it fire manually, happened to me yesterday but figured out how to solve it...
