When Michael takes the drink away from Carlo, you know he’s dead, despite the story about flying him to Vegas. As soon as Michael gets Barzini’s name out of him, Carlo doesn’t deserve one more atom of consideration as a human being - he’s “done” in the most serious sense of the word. Every word of dialogue, every costume choice, every look and gesture tells a story in Godfather, that’s why you love watching it over and over. Coppola’s Godfather I and II for me is the greatest directorial performance ever. His attention to detail in those films was unbelievable.

Gianni is a very respected gentleman all over the world especially in NYC. I have met him through a Italian “friend of mine “ about 7 years ago in NYC. Great guy, amazing life which should be on the big screen because his life is a amazing story. From polio and being quarantined for years, to his run in with Frank Costello and how that event changed his life. His run in to Pablo Escobar ,Saddam Hussein how washing hair led to a every teenaged boys dream of meeting Marilyn Monroe and dealings with the Kennedy ‘s. He’s a fun guy to be around and he will keep you laughing constantly. I hope Gianni or someone is writing a script about his life because his life was/is a movie.

Gianni is so charismatic and a hard worker, a real earner in whatever he puts his hand to, it's commendable. I'm reading Gianni's book at the moment, called Hollywood Godfather, released not long ago and it is so good. Having been to California, New York and Las Vegas, I can imagine him there so vividly, whilst reading the book, it's awesome. I'd recommend it. 📖 🙂👍

I just watched him play a key mafia insider on Vlad TV, and he's right; he's a damn good actor. Not to say he hasn't killed anyone, and he's a living library at the intersection of criminal enterprise, Hollywood and politics. I wonder if his art imitates life/life imitates art continuum can fit on one historic timeline? Then again, finding out would spoil the magic, and I like magic.

The differences between the 2, the young Giovanni Russo and the old Giovanni Russo I’m VLAD TV, are geometrically different. Hi 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh you truly are a PATHETIC individual and I feel PITY towards you! I’m laughing 😂 in your face because you are so ridiculous, calling me blackie doesn’t insult me, because I KNOW who I AM, and I LOVE myself. But, it’s clear that you hate yourself, that’s why you and other racists like you project your self loathing onto other people. It’s also clear that you are possessed by a demonic hatred. YOU are the one that’s OPPRESSED, you are a slave to your hate, and it’s pitiful! You need Jesus, repent and put your trust in him and he will transform your cold 🥶 hateful, vacuous heart into a loving peaceful one.

But, before I go I just have one thing to say: Take good look at yourself in the mirror, there is darkness in your heart, it’s very obvious, REPENT and put your trust in JESUS, he will set you free from your self hate! 🙏🏾

This is hilarious! I used to deliver pizza to this guy, pretty regularly, in Tarzana, California, in the early to mid-90's. He had the hair slicked back, the tan, and an attractive young lady (who was just a few years older than me). As I got to know him a bit, I asked him what he did, and he told me he'd produced and acted in a Steven Seagal movie, and some other stuff that I don't recall. No mention of the Godfather (that I recall), and I hadn't seen it at that point, anyway, so wouldn't have recognized him. He had a Range Rover and I think a BMW in the driveway whenever I delivered, and he told me he had a Bentley in the garage (I only had a very vague notion of what a Bentley was then, lol). He actually offered me a job at one point, but I told him I was making good money (I had a full-time 9-to-5 job, plus the pizza delivery, and I thought I was rolling in the dough, lol), and turned him down. Who knows how things would have gone if I'd said yes? Edit: Let me stress that he was a nice guy, as was the lady, and he tipped well, lol.
