True Zombie survival is honestly my favorite setting for roleplay media. I've been working on a zombie survival DnD campaign and I hit a roadblock, but this filled me with new inspiration. Great job on this vid.

With the greatest respect, I couldn’t disagree more. Those creatures frighten me. I don’t even like to hear, read, or see one shred about them or any other horror subject. For Heaven’s sake, even the Command & Conquer game in 1995 terrified me! Yet I felt I could not help that the game totally absorbed me and I still played it, pretending it was reality. At times, I can still feel like I’m physically standing in some huge and secret command bunker -- dealing with the war effort, reading documents, questioning prisoners, deciding what instructions to give, worrying about the Brotherhood of Nod’s masterful propaganda and their intelligence penetrations and their ... unexplainable things. In fact, I could not help but decide the location of the secret headquarters bunker, and even decided how it got its electric power! In just a few moments I made up the headcanon character “the Abbot Julius,” and sometimes I felt I was in the interrogation room, laboriously studying every detail of Abbot Julius, determining how he thought and why, then with months of work I began patiently manipulating him to answer questions. Fight, win, prevail. For similar reasons about how easily fictional things can absorb me, even though I really enjoyed “A Crew of Two,” I still thought I might well be making a mistake listening to *this* particular audio. But it was manageable, and I was even able to enjoy the story to a certain degree, and that sure is an insanely beautiful voice she has.

This was the series that endeared me to your storytelling, Aelswyth. To have it in full is an easy excuse to listen to it all over again. Blythe is a great character, so genuine and kind. I’m really happy with how this story ended and how it progressed. Thanks again for making this series and I know every other series will have as satisfying conclusions as this one.

@@AelswythAudio you know it would not matter if your singing was good or bad for me in the apocalypse i would be looking for anything to bring some semblance of normalcy either reading books or listening to music would be the best i could do cause i would most likely not be able to watch youtube videos or play video game’s so for me it would be music or books and having you to sing for me in the moment’s of calm and peace would be a true blessing

Hi, Aelswyth. As is probably obvious, I usually live in a different corner of KZbin, but a friend told me about these audio roleplays, and being a lover of all things storytelling, sound editing, and roleplaying for half my life, I had to find out more. In just a couple of days of exploring, your channel has become my favorite. Your voice acting is wonderful, your actual voice calming, your characters believable and individual, and your stories well planned and well told. I know that you're currently taking a hiatus, and good for you. Everyone needs those once in a while, especially when you routinely create content that requires a lot of thought and creativity as well as production and post-production work. But in the last couple of days I've met characters through your stories that I don't think I'll ever forget. I usually absolutely cannot stand zombie apocalypse stories because of the (usually) obligatory grimness and gore. But after meeting characters such as Gwen, Andromida, and, my favorite, Z, I couldn't pass this one up... and I loved it! I liked Blythe immediately. She's the sort of person I would want to have the strength to be in such a world. I loved the entire story arc, and this one has the distinction of being the first of yours to bring me to tears. My favorite thing, though, is that Blythe is a singing character, and you have a lovely singing voice! Sorry for the very long comment. I generally stay away from commenting outside my own community because while it's a given that mainstream isn't usually kind to weird, other kinds of weird often aren't either. But I just could not virtually walk away without letting you know how deeply I feel your stories. Thank you.

Although you don't use the most trendy of asmr roles, I think you're the most over achiever in the atmosphere and voice acting department, every monologue you perform is simple on paper, but you manage to make them so much more fun than they initially appear. I can tell you have tons of fun voicing and editing some of these serieses, even if you don't, I can imagine your still proud of the work you've done. Its very enjoyable.

You're THAT good. It's like listening to the Dresden Files audiobooks- James Marsters has set the bar very high for audiobook narrators (thankfully, the industry is realizing that and the readers are becoming more emotive) with the way he turns reading a book into a radio play. You do the same thing with these audios. You create movies in the head of the listener and real investment in the characters, that's talent :D

Not me finding this audio as a person living in the area that they are headed to and that the area the journey starts in is near-ish to my hometown. Weird thing to add to my mental map but I’ll take it. (Guessing the trip starts in North-Eastern Oregon/ South-Western Washington and the 300 miles goes through the sagebrush filled plains, then over Mt. Hood, and then south past Gresham area following the willamete river until you fork off to reach silvertown)

1 year if it's dead bodies moving (will not be able to move fast ) 10 years if they are infected but malnourished like attacking and killing anything in sight (may be fast in the first few months ) 40 years if it is a actual complex organism that could keep the host alive by hunting and successfully catching pray but that is extremely un likely (will be fast for a very long time)
