Hi thanks for this video. I purchased this wideband about 2 years ago. And recently I disconnected it to do some wiring and now the Gage hardly moves like it did before. Is there some sort of calibration that needs to be done? in your video you mentioned no open-air calibration is necessary.

how does the gauge work if you have e85 in the car?
@TrickyHaze.4 ай бұрын
I have this gauge, changed my o2 to an AEM 4.9 and the gauge just reads - - -, ive been through 3 sensors now and i got the car retune where it was reading properly on the laptop.

does the small numbers around the edge light up?
@maperformance8 жыл бұрын
No, there is a display in the middle that shows the exact ratio, and a green bar that lights up around the outside.

Hi, I have the AEM 30-4100, and in mad eBay frenzy I bought the Bosch 4.9 sensor, will this still fit my Aem 30-4100. Or will I need to purchase 30-4110 cable connection? Thanks
@maperformance8 жыл бұрын
That should work just fine!

Hi, Thanks for getting back, but turns out the the 4.2 sensor has a different plug connection to the 4.9 sensor. :/ - Guess it's best check & double check before buying.

@@loonytooney did you ever find the one that fits?
@coolasice4750 Жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvega135 I did, but I honestly can't remember where I bought it from, as this was many years ago.

Hi can i use this on a vehicle that doesn't have a ECU..
@maperformance8 жыл бұрын
Sure can!
@bagelbytes694207 жыл бұрын
Yep, you can hook it up and it will read the AFR's but if you meant the stock ECU, you will need to switch the mode on the unit (small circle switch on the back) to P4 or position 4 to emulate narrowband for the stock ECU.

can i use this on a 2 stroke snowmobile...??
@maperformance8 жыл бұрын
For a 2 stroke, we recommend a EGT sensor. Give us a call and ask for Adam he can help you out!

If I hook this up with my stock ecu before I put my new ecu in can I make it output the narrowband signal like the stock o2 sensor would? I know the older ones have a switch but that one doesn't appear to have any ui?
@maperformance7 жыл бұрын
I don't believe you can. They can be wired into an aftermarket standalone but not the stock ones typically...

What about the 5v ref wire?

Thanks for the video but I didn't learn anything other than what I can read anywhere, in fact it was far less informative.
