Notes: InititalContent of a template is kind of static which means changes made to it are applied only to the newly created ones whereas changes made to the structure are applied to existing and newly created pages.

Thank you so much,it's very useful if any wants to brush up basics.I have created new template in both WKND and my application specific folder don't see template is listing over there.Also i have added the new template in the allowed template list under the home page as well. Can you please help in what's is causing for this problem.

It appears that AEM creates a menu based on the timing when pages were created. If I want a page that I created recently to appear first in the menu, how do I move it to that position?

Sir actually when I click on templates it says there is no item to show I think I did some mistake in crxde can you solve these problem.

You may have deleted something. Go to package manager. Find package "we.retail.all-4.0.0.zip" and reinstall. You find using this link. Adjust your port number as per your AEM instance. localhost:4502/crx/packmgr/index.jsp#/etc/packages/adobe/cq60/sample/we.retail.all-4.0.0.zip

Can we create & use editable templates alongside static templates?? I have static templates for my project. After creating new editable template, i'm not able to see it for creating pages,only static templates are available to create pages

Yes, you can use both type of template in same project. Please check "cq:allowedTemplates" property in your root page. Add path to you newly created template/template folder

You can use standalone or cloud aem version on your local. You need to download form ADD ON package as per your machine(MAC/WINDOWs) from adobe download centre. Install ADD ON package to your AEM.
