Jeez, why am I tearing up? Whoo! This was amazing! This song gets me every time (love this cover too). People complain Aemond is a terribly written character, but I think he's very complex when you read underneath the surface. Ewan Mitchell does a lot of amazing non-verbal acting that you have to analyze, which makes Aemond super compelling to me. And my little shipper heart for Aemond/Helaena, gah!

I agree. Ewan made Aemond to be complex and compelling. Aemond/Helaena also interesting (as siblings and as potential lovers in the future). The chemistry between Ewan and Phia ❤ on screen.

Him telling her he knows she doesn’t wish to harm anyone all while she tells their uncle through dreaming ability that everything is a story and he knows his part. Then Aemond follows up with “when the good of the realm depends on it” like. She won’t harm anyone or burn anyone, but she certainly sent Daemon and Aemond to their deaths. For the good of the realm

This is Targaryen siblings pairing, not canon in the book but we don't know yet in the show version (the producers, director of some episodes, the actor and the actress seemed to see this pairing in complicated way). If you wonder why fans ship it eventhough they're siblings then you must not know it's already in Targaryen dynasty and in their blood because their grandparents were siblings by the same parents too. It's not everyone's taste 😂 of course so I understand if you dislike it 😅

I think the potential still there for season 3. It depends on how we viewed their scenes. Their relationship is indeed interesting like Ewan said and special like director of ep 8 said but in complicated way. He held her hand in aggresive way because desperation and panick. Compared to Daemon choked Rhaenyra 😅 it might not as bad as we thought. We are just being over-protected on Helaena. She destroyed his hope to sit on the throne because she wanted to prevent him for doing pointless cruelty. Those who wanted super soft romantic lovey dovey surely lost hope 😂but yeah it's still exciting to those who get used to complicated relationships ❤
