Flew Aer Lingus yesterday.....very nice experience. Business class seat was great, service was great, food and drinks were quite nice. I'd definitely fly with them again. I'd put them on par with Lufthansa. Though the 51st & Green lounge was decent, I'd like to see them enlarge it a bit (an upstairs perhaps...?) and add more outlets in order to charge electronics. But it was a decent place with decent food. Thanks, Aer Lingus.

Aer Lingus is currently hiring new pilots with no experience it’s never to late to become a pilot all you need is a leaving certificate from secondary school and a high mark in maths and English no college needed and the training is only 14 months

I’ve had two lessons in a microlight c42 and loved it. I just haven’t got the nerve to follow it through, don’t know if a pilots lifestyle would suit. And I suppose you have to be sure before committing yourself. Taking into consideration the fees involved with training. Thanks for the motivation anyway pal. 👍

Congratulations. I recently enjoyed listening to an Atc recording of an Aer Lingus pilot declaring a Mayday. Although the situation was a little tense both pilots remained calm and extremely professional throughout, never forgetting to say please and thank you. That has to be part of the reason that Aer Lingus is, in my opinion, the safest long haul carrier in world.

You used to be able to go to the second floor, look out the windows, and watch the planes take off and land, now you can no longer, why? Because they decided to build a lounge for rich business types, it's all about money
