I'd love it if you had to fight occasional (very rare) monsters underground with your mining tools. Same for breaking the corrupted core. Better explanations would help too.

I do love that modders are trying new stuff out. My general feedback is that it's a good idea to in some way set the player's expectations beforehand as to what's intended for the gameplay. The idea of mysterious items and interactions is very cool, but still weigh that against accessibility. I think most players will appreciate at least a vague instruction for important features. It brings up the possibility for environmental storytelling though, and that kind of tangential gameplay can actually benefit from being presented in an oblique way. We love to discover and interpret the meaning of the game world in a personal way.

Bug Report: Wave 14 in the video we can see that the monster timer went down faster, after leaving the base. 32:50

It's not a bug. The large iron is the special kind that gives 5 iron for returning it. It's detectable by the monsters, and it immediately starts the wave if you bring it back to the dome. It also increases the wave strength slightly. This would've been more clear if Luckless had done the Guild Assignment for it first.

Oooh the big resources was temporary, I think a buff only for the next X seconds for the resources found, when you brought back the iron the big one was worth 5! Drillbert triggered it below, mined one iron and you mined the water around the same time.

Lately I am playing The Void Rain Upon Her Heart. It's a shmup roguelike where you bring love to monsters and it's wholesome and has a ridiculous amount of content and it's nearing toward version 0.9 . Also, I am totally not going insane looking at the various in-game descriptions trying to figure out the lore. :P

I think this could be cooler if the corrupted relic was closer to the top with the chaos nodes connecting to it really deep down (perhaps in a maze layout) and need to be destroyed to reveal it. Perhaps after destroying a chaos node, it could drop a destruction block.

I just finished Neva (same creators of Gris) and still need to "borrow" your strat for completing Thronefall. Also, one of my sayings is actually, "Randomness is the spice of life". Probably wait until all bugs are fixed before playing it but love it so far.

Interesting and promising. I really enjoy random stuff that could occur during mining. It really brakes the monotony of digging phases. I wish this aspect was more developed with the last update. As usual with, modding : brilliant ideas but it needs time to be tweaked because it is clunky. Also, that's a lot of work because, you've got to check how the new features are "synergyzing" with every gadget configuration. I really hope these will be improved to a state where it blends flawlessly with the game.

I'll write down some notes here: - bigger drops: that big iron block you brought up was 5 iron! However, the two water, as "converted" back to regular water drops counted as regular. Not sure what the intent is here but I'd guess worth a look. - notice at 32:48 you "did run out of time" but weirdly quickly! That's an interesting chaos mechanic! - final thing to look at is the "Gravity changed" at 11:35. Is that supposed to do something, or we just didn't see the affect due to Drillbert finding it?

The big iron block was the "other kind" from one of the new iron tiles. It's actually what triggers the wave to start very quickly too, as per your second point. He didn't notice the first one he brought back (and apparently, neither did you 😉) because he had such little time left and went straight into the upgrade menu. Gravity changed is supposed to affect resource tiles. I'm not sure if it affects Drillbert, will have to check that out... maybe we just didn't see it because he was off-screen? It's also temporary and goes back to normal after a short time.

Searched for one instance, found 13:00, the time was already ran out, so I don't blame myself, haha! Gravity change: off-screen, yes, make sense. Temporary, like the Attraction, I guess. I love the mod! As LL pointed out, all the other experiments brought together (stealing mouse, explody mines) is great fun. But I'm not quite understanding the end mechanics: the corrupted relic and the big boulder has to touch and that's all? Does it have to take place in the "white cave"?
