James Stewart as Charles Lindbergh in the 1957 movie The Spirit of St. Louis. This clip is the aerial footage as the plane enters the air space over St. John's, Newfoundland, heading across the Atlantic Ocean.
The film also starred Murray Hamilton and Patricia Smith. It was directed by Billy Wilder.
